I was told by my saddle maker to either get a Weaver OR Professional Choice neoprene “sleeve” cinch after I called him to complain about having issues with my new custom mule saddle that was causing saddle galls. He said these are two of the last cinches that don’t have limestone added to the neoprene at manufacturing and the cinch I was currently using was rubbing and causing the galling. I had been using a felt cinch. I switched as he suggested and I have never had another minute of trouble!! I hope they never change the way they manufacture these because they sure saved my mule from some nasty sores. Now we can ride in our gorgeous custom fit-to-her saddle and enjoy our rides without worry! ... show more

I like this cinch a lot. It’s a little “squishy” and softer than most cinches, but very tough. If you can imagine that. It’s much more comfortable for the horse and I’d get another in a heartbeat if this one ever wears out!

I love that this is squishy, so it's comfortable for the horse. It seems to be something that will last a long time. It's also a non-slip material, so the saddle does not slide. I'm happy to have made this purchase and highly recommend.
