Okay- so this is a simple little thing, right? ... a clip on water bottle holder. It is what it is, AND I don't even ride horses (sorry, but I prefer a steering wheel or something with handlebars). So why write a review? ...because I love this thing! My son is an active multi-sport athlete and I looked for over a year for a water bottle holder that would: - Hold multiple size bottles (including the tall 32oz Gatorade squeeze bottles) - Clip easily on and off of a dugout fence or D-rings on bags - Provide at least a little insulation Check, check, and check! This simple little, well-made holder is exactly what I needed. The bottle is a cheap, but functional squeeze bottle (never use it- in the donation pile), but the awkward Gatorade squeezers slide right in, as do large and small earth-killing disposable water bottles. I bet I have 5 or 6 other holsters and carriers and insulating wraps that are now collecting dust (and also headed for the donation pile) after getting this Weaver holder. I love that I can clip it on a bat bag to carry it to the field, then unclip it and clip it right on the fence or any convenient hanger. I can hang it off the seat bracket on my bike, my backpack, loops on my tent... I recommend this thing to sports folks, campers, hikers, bikers, students, and oh yeah--- probably horseback riders, too! Weaver- you should expand your marketing. The only complaint is that it is black and therefore draws and transfers a lot of heat to the bottle inside, but the black never looks dirty-- it is wearing extremely well and I have no concerns about its durability.

I bought this for my husband to use on our wilderness walks. He's always drinking from mine and of course I don't mind hearing with my sweetheart but then I'm out of water before we get back to the car and go home and I'm thirsty and so is he so I got this one for him. I knew he was going to love it because first of all it's black and second it clips onto his pants in2 different ways. Well problem solved he loves it and I get to keep my own drinking water. Now I only have to share with the dog. Hey maybe I can get him to share in that too. I'm winning all the way around!

Real nice item for carrying a water bottle. The one that comes with it is cheap plastic and I won't be using it, I'll use my own insulated water bottle, it fits just fine. The little net pouch on the side is big enough for much of anything. I was hoping my phone would fit, but no.

Handy to have while riding. Fits several different size water bottles. Easy to clip on the saddle. Seems well constructed...time will tell. We did not use the one that came with it. It's too small for a longer ride in the heat. We use insulated bottles. Both granddaughters and I are very happy with this product.

I have used this water bottle holder for a number of years and have been very satisfied. Easily attaches to a d ring on the english saddle. I ordered what I thought was an identical model because the velcro closure strap had worn out and was no longer staying shut. The new one has a terribly cheap and basically non functional hook. It requires 2 hands to open it with great difficulty. I will try to lubricate it to see if that helps but I may end up swapping in the old hook and sewing it on through multiple thicknesses of tough canvas. The new oine is ion the right in the photo. Not happy Weaver!

Well made and virtually non destructible. Scissor snap attaches holder to any D ring and allows for flexibility when packing for a ride. Small D ring on holder provides the option of tying the bottom to the saddle rigging. Comes with small plastic water bottles but can also hold s 16 or 24 oz bottle of the beverage of your choice. Velcro strap holds contents in place.

Exactly what I wanted. Most of my friends who ride horses have these. I just had to have one. I may get a couple more so that I have back ups and spares. They are great for holding water bottles and other beverages.
