The “Big Sun” design is so cool—it has a really nice vintage beach vibe that stands out without being over the top. Functionally, this blanket checks all the boxes. It packs up easily and includes a convenient carrying strap, which makes it simple to grab and go. I also love that dirt and sand shake right off, so you’re not bringing half the beach back to your car. The waterproof backing is a huge plus too—we’ve been able to use it comfortably on damp grass and even slightly wet sand. It’s also great to know it’s OEKO-TEX certified, which is something we try to prioritize. The only downside is the weight. At a little over 4 pounds, it’s definitely on the heavier side. That’s not a big issue if you’re setting up close to where you park, but it could be something to consider if you’re planning to carry it a longer distance. I was gifted this ADORABLE picnic blanket from a friend and it was perfect for a picnic in the park! It was light weight to carry, but the material was a great quality. I love the design and that the reverse side was solid. We were out in the sun, but the fabric did not get hot, which is better than my last blanket!
