  • Worth it if you have a base Series S. Don’t fall for the cloud gaming hype!
Capacity: 512GB
Bought this back in November and it’s been rock solid ever since. Speeds are super fast! it’s literally plug and play. Just slide it in and your Xbox Series S or X picks it up instantly. Quick Resume works flawlessly too. Some people say storage like this is useless now that Xbox is pushing cloud gaming, but that really depends on your setup. If you’re like me and using a base Series S, you’ll quickly run out of space. Want to have COD and Forza installed at the same time? You’re gonna need something like this. Cloud gaming is only realistic if you live near the right servers and have ultra-fast, low-latency internet which is not exactly common for everyone. I’m glad I snagged it on sale. Not the cheapest at full price, but totally worth it for the convenience. I love being able to store and pre-install games from my phone even when I’m not at my setup. Read/write speeds are lightning fast, and it even comes with a free Game Pass trial. Between that and Xbox’s backwards compatibility, you can pack hundreds of games onto this little thing. Neat. ... show more

  • so far so good
Capacity: 2TB
had about half a year i think and so far so good ill write another in over a year or so cause my brother had a seagate that burnt up on him after a year and he lost alot of game content this thing is robust fully metal very nice love to 2 tbs now the cost is extremely costly i mean your talking pretty close to the xbox itself in my opinion the 2 tb one should be like 150 but im not the maker and dont know how much it costs to make so this is just an opinion but if it doesnt burn up on my for the whole xboxs life hey its worth it especially when my 2 tb xbox im constantly deleted and reinstalling games and planning in the future what games im gonna play lol that was ridiculous this definently fixed that ... show more

  • Eh Just Get One Before GTA6 Release, You'll Need It
Capacity: 2TB
Does what it's supposed to. Instant 2tb for all series x/s games. A must have for anyone with gamepass that wants day 1 releases without worrying about storage. I got this months ago but I have the new Doom, Expedition 33, AC Shadows, ES Oblivion, COD(Cold War, BO6, MW3, MW2, Warzone), Avowed, Monster Hunter Wilds, South of Midnight, Diablo IV, Madden, 2K, Marvel Rivals, etc etc.. and still have 1.5TB free between internal and expansion card. All other non series X optimized games are on my 1TB Seagate external HHD that I've had since my scorpio edition one X. No question, you need more storage? Then get the expansion ... show more

  • 2TB is OP. Works as advertised
Capacity: 2TB
I've had a 1TB Series X for years and I find myself uninstalling games to install others like clockwork. I had 50GB remaining when the 100GB+ Oblivion Remastered came out. On a quest to expand my storage, I saw the 2TB card on sale and couldn't resist. It's plug and play, no downloads or updates required. You'll be asked whether the memory card will stay in the Xbox or if you'll be unplugging it and taking it around with you. That's it. My Series X went from 50GB of storage remaining to 1.8TB. Well worth it. I have 13 games installed on the card, 25 games installed in total with 1.3TB remaining. I've installed multiple games that are 100GB+ such as Halo Infinite, COD:BO6, Indiana Jones, GTA5, and now Oblivion Remastered. I definitely would've been just fine with the 1TB, so I'd say this overdelivers at the sale price! ... show more

  • Clean and easy way to beef up XBOX
Capacity: 2TB
My old XBOX ONE came with a healthy 2TB of storage onboard which was more than adequate for the size of games back then. But I upgraded to a new XBOX Series X at a time when they were very scarce, Microsoft was releasing just a skimpy few at a time, and I had to settle for one with only 1TB. Meanwhile, games keep needing more and more storage space. Though a bit pricey, this 2TB card was an easy way to get my new rig up to the task. Installation and setup were extremely easy, just plug it into the slot on back and XBOX walks you through a couple simple steps and you’re done. Got plenty of breathing room on my newer rig now, even with the mega-sized games emerging lately. ... show more

  • GAMES ARE MASSIVE....YOU KNOW YOU NEED MORE STORAGE!
Capacity: 512GB
Modern games are huge! You have a bunch of storage which sounds like a lot when you first get your Xbox. You purchase and download a few of your favorite big name title games and next thing you know you are getting warnings about reaching full capacity for storage. This WD Black storage expansion card is the easiest way to solve this issue. Even if you bought the 1TB version of the Xbox it's just convenient having more room so you don't have to do the install/uninstall juggle to play different games. Especially if you have a few regular games you play that take up space and then you want to have a few other that you are playing in between. This is by Western Digital which is a trusted name in storage. I have had PC hard rives by them last longer than the actual main components of the computer, and I removed them and put them in the next device or converted them to an external hard drive. This is the absolute easiest solution for a lack of storage issue on the Xbox. You just plug it in and your system detects a second drive. It only sticks out a little bit which makes it easy to remove if you need to. It is solid state drive so the transfer speeds are so fast that you can still play games that are installed directly to this expansion drive. You can easily move games and content between this and the internal drive in the Xbox system storage menu. The only downside to this is the price. I think they are slightly expensive for what it is, especially for the large capacity ones. The unfortunate truth though is that solid state hard drives are still a bit pricey so there is not much you can do. You could get some other brand of a hard drive and take chances but since these are designed for the Xbox they just work seamlessly and instantly and make your life easier. ... show more

  • Big storage for immediate gameplay.
Capacity: 2TB
I have several large-capacity games I would have to move around with another nonplayable hard drive just for storage. Now I have more games immediately available to play.
