After 4 weeks of daily wear in the shower these have performed much better than any of the dozen water shoes I have worn before. And I wear them every day in the shower due to my disability which requires me to wear shoes or sandals in the shower for safety. All of them either broke down and were discarded or they filled up with water and got heavy on my feet. These do not have any of those problems. That is why I am so impressed by these. Although they are not manufactured in the same high quality standard that U.S. products are, as the seams on them have already come apart and I had to take them to a shoe repair shop, they are very much worth getting fixed if they do come apart as they are easily the most malleable water shoes available. And take it from me, I know water shoes. I order these again when the seams come apart which, aparrently, are a common issue with these particularl shoes as other reviewers have reported the same issue. but that is a minor flaw that does not justify returning them. I am very happy to have found high quality watershoes at this very affordable price. *update* I think with these watershoes there is a trick to avoid them breaking down like so many others have had happened; and it is to be extra gentle when pulling them off your feet as the seams are not sown very well or double sewn. but as with every high quality product care must be taken for prolonged life and use.

I bought this to wear at an indoor pool. I do not recommend them for this use. They would be great to wear in the ocean to protect your feet from rocks and glass. What I do not like about them, they take a long time to dry and they soak up a lot of water. Every thing in my swim bag was soaked even though I wrapped them in my towel.

I love these shoes. I wear them around the house. These are the most comfortable slippers I've ever had. I have four pairs now. I buy them because I'm afraid they will disappear from Amazon as have so many other favorites of mine. The pair I'm wearing now are at least six months old and show some wear on the sole but there have been no problems with the upper body of the shoes. I cut off the cord that's intended to tighten the opening of the shoe because they just get in the way and I've never needed to tighten them. When I'm sitting in my recliner, it's difficult to tell they are on my feet. That's how comfortable they are. I'm 76 years old I'm always grateful for something that makes me more comfortable.
