Assembly is straight-forward, but one should assemble like this. Throw away the vinyl tape that came with this. Buy a better quality, thicker and less likely to tangle, tape to cover the threads of the inlet pipe and the plug. Roll 5 times around the threads. Get some pipe "dope" and cover the taped threads.     • Waterfall adds beauty to your landscape

The media could not be loaded. I have purchased three LONGRUN Fountains with some success and failure. So, I’m both satisfied and disappointed. The first unit I purchased was the 12” stainless steel unit. It is shown in Video 2. Works great. I purchased the LED separately and it did not work. I check in before mounting to the waterfall. The company sent a replacement which has operated for over a month. The second waterfall I purchased was a 12” acrylic combination unit with the LED. This unit comes with the top enclosed and supported by small plastic supports creating a tube-like affect. I would not recommend this unit. If the water contains any particles the collect on these supports causing the water flow to separate. The only way it will work is to highly filter the water. I first tried to cut the supports using a saber saw. Some success but still created a water flow problem, I also installed a flow valve to help it properly function. Finally, out of frustration I took a grinder and removed the top acrylic exposing the fountain the same as the stainless units. Works great now as shown in video 3. Just purchase the stainless-steel units. The third water fall units is 24” and works fine as show in video 1 I purchased the LED separately and fail after a few days. Quickly replaced and is now working as expected. The fountains are a nice addition to my landscape, just stay away from the acrylic unit. I’m and old shop teacher so have tools to make anything work….See additional video in reviews on 12" waterfalls both stainless and acrylic. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After purchasing a different spillway/filter I decided to go with this due to it being slim I just built a canister filter out of pvc to go between the pump and spillway works perfect!

This spillway looks better in person than it does on the product page. The finish on the spillway is fantastic, and the design is also unique, I love it so much!!!

The waterfall is very well made using great quality materials. There are 2 different ways to attach the waterfall to a water source. You can attach through the bottom of the unit or through the back side. They do provide plugs to cap off the inlets that are not being used. You can add an optional LED light bar to the unit to have it light up which looks very nice but be advised this unit does NOT come with the light bar. Also, when adding a light bar there is no where to run the wire through and can be a problem for some installations. You will need to cut a small groove the bring the wire out of the waterfall for connection to a power source. If they make an adjustment for the wire, this would be perfect! ... show more

** Gentle disclaimer- the RGB Light strips are NOT included with this pool spillway. They do offer the strips available for purchase with this store. I know it was one of the main attractions to this product, so I wanted to be sure the consumer realized - it is a separate purchase. :) ** Something was definitely missing from my rock garden that flows into a small pond, it took me a while to figure out what exactly that was. After visiting a friend of mine for brunch, I noticed her garden looked amazing, she had something similar but not exactly in her garden rock pond. I loved the concept, so began my research about a quality water gadget that would elevate the look of my garden. I ran across this made by LONGRUNNEW and from what I could discern, this looked like a great option to try. I ordered this and now that I've had time to get this home and set-up, I am actually more pleased than what I had honestly anticipated. Below, I will further outline some of the factors and features I considered that ultimately led me to choose this one over others on the market. *Design: Waterfall spillway design-Stainless steel *Variety: this is offered in a total of three different sizes- 12 inch, 24 inch and 36 inches, so good options *Dimensions for your reference: 23.6"L x 8"W x 5"H *Simplistic and 304 Stainless steel *Durable and premium grade material *Versatile: this can be used in a swimming pool, pond, patio or other places many options *Variations in sizes: they do offer different choices (curved, wider & bend) etc. All in all, I think this is a very well designed and constructed spillway. The price point is justified due to the fact the designer opted to use premium grade materials. I did not encounter any defects or damage that would otherwise lessen the value of this spillway, works as intended. Therefore, based on these findings, and an overall positive experience, I would recommend this to other consumers. I am definitely going to need to order the lights to add, this will undoubtedly elevate the appearance of this apparatus. Thanks for reading my review.     • Beautiful and well made, but, razor sharp edges.

This is a beautiful addition to our pool, but the edges are razor sharp. It is really designed for a fountain and not a pool. I'm going to look for some kind of edge gaurds to cover all of the sharp edges. Hopefully the water will still flow nicely over the gaurds. If you are mounting this out of reach, then the sharp edges are just a temporary installation/maintenance risk. Enjoy. ... show more
