This review is for the Water Shoes for Women Men Barefoot Beach Swim Aqua Socks Summer Wide Slides Sandals Quick Dry Pool River Sea Sock Shoes. I see I get the honor of the very first review. I love these! I got them in the regular black (as opposed to the mesh black) in the women's 6.5-7.5. I'm a short handicapped woman with a very bad back, I have small narrow flat feet. I find these flexible little water shoes to be a tad big on me, they fit loosely, but that's prob as they're wide. But the fit is very comfortable as the sole is flexible/thin, the material is good/comfortable with plenty of mesh holes built in for good ventilation, the fit is flexible with the strap with the velcro closure, and I did not note any problem areas where my feet were rubbed the wrong way. The wide toe box means no smashed toes, seams are nice and flat with good stitching throughout. With the fit I can easily wear socks and still be comfortable, I rarely wear socks except during the winter. Do keep in mind there's really no padding in these, no arch supports, due to the design you will feel everything under your feet... personally I'm good with that as I'm most stable in flat shoes or my bare feet. These are about as close to being barefoot as I think you can get. So if you need padding/arch support these won't be for you, unless you add your own inserts. The fit would easily allow the shoe to still fit well with inserts for me. You would have to test them for your own personal fit according to your size. Just for reference I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 depending on the brand, for some boots I'll go an 8-8.5 depending on what they're for and am I going to wear socks/what type of socks... are they for wet/muddy, cold/winter wear, fashion boots...? These are great little shoes just to wear around the house, on vacation, going to the pool/beach... I would even wear these in warm weather just to run errands... if you're looking to keep your feet dry/warm if going outside, these are not the shoes for that. They are however quick drying if they get wet, and the sole has good tread design to help with nonslip. Also they can be worn normally, or due to the design of the shoe and how it's sewn, you can fold the back down and wear them as a slide in. They come in lots of color choices to suit your needs/tastes. Regular price $ 16.99 per the listing and there's a $ 5.00 off coupon. Great buy here to outfit the entire family for vacation too! I know these just a simple little slip on water/barefoot shoe, but I really like them. They're a keeper and I'll get lots of use out of them! As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I live in an area that was decimated by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Three months later, debris is still washing up on the beaches, and the annual Polar Plunge was canceled due to too many pieces of buried debris still lurking in the Gulf. Until the water is safer in terms of stepping on debris, it's not a bad idea to wear water shoes. So I ordered these. These are yet another product that comes compressed for absolutely no reason. These are NOT bulky, and compressing them only means they come out flatter and not as soft as they should be. It's hard to open the package, and you need to be careful NOT to cut into the shoes while opening the plastic. I automatically deduct a star for any unnecessary compression. That being said, these remind me of the old "Chinese Flats" we used to wear back in the late 80s/early 90s. They look the same, have a similar degree of support, (which is not much,) and they feel just like them when you walk in them. They have the same type of thin sole. But these are made of a waterproof mesh, rather than cotton fabric, and they close with velcro versus a buckle. And these run large whereas the Chinese Flats ran small. I live 2 blocks from the nearest beach access. These will be good shoes to walk to the beach wearing. I can walk right on to the sand and into the water without having to take off these shoes. They offer about the same degree of support as a flip flop. Now the product page says: "The zero-drop non-elevated sole offers better ground feedback, enhancing your enjoyment for walking over rocks, sand, tree branches, gravel trails, etc." While you can wear these on streets and sidewalks, I would NOT recommend them for walking over rocks, tree branches, or gravel trails. For beach walks, around the house, walking to the pool, etc., these shoes would be good. Also, they are sized funny. I wear a 7.5 or an 8. depending on the shoe. I had a choice between 6.5 - 7.5 or 8 - 8.5. I chose the 8 - 8.5, and though they are certainly wearable, I probably should've gone for the smaller size. I can tighten them up with the velcro, but if you are on the fence about what size to choose, I'd recommend going for the smaller size versus the larger. They are going to be fine for the purpose I bought them for: walking a couple blocks to the beach, and protecting my feet from any debris still partially buried and slowly dislodging. I will still have to do the "stingray shuffle," as they definitely would NOT protect you from the barb should you accidentally step on a stingray. They might have a thick enough sole to protect your foot should you step on a sea urchin though. I was one of those people who loved wearing those Chinese Flats to festivals, back in the day. Only those were not waterproof or quick to dry like these. I can see myself wearing these to festivals, as well as to the beach and in the water. I never liked the restrictiveness or the feel of traditional water slippers, and I do like the look and feel of these a lot better. These have much more of a barefoot feel. They will serve the purpose for which I purchased them. And being a tie dye fan, I do love the pattern I chose (old purple.) They will definitely look good with the clothes I wear to music Sundays and festivals. And they make me nostalgic for shoes I loved when they were popular many years ago.

I have read articles about trying to avoid wearing “outside“ shoes around inside the house. Some discuss the germs that might be brought in but looking at the bottoms of my shoes there is also simple dust and dirt being tracked inside which can add to my cleaning routine quite a bit. At the same time I guess I am just in the habit of having something on my feet. These are the perfect solution. And they have just enough padding but aren’t big and bulky like my mom’s house slippers. The slippers allow my feet to breathe, yet the closure method makes it easy to adjust the width if I want to add socks on a chilly morning. Very pleased with these slippers and I can easily recommend them!

These are a great alternative to those slipper sock beach shoes you see everywhere. They look like nice mary jane flats, but fit like the water sock style. The velcro is nice and tight, and can still be adjusted easily. They are great to wear around the house or to travel since they still have the hard sole like a standard shoe. While I did size up a half size based on my experience with other water shoes, I would have been just fine choosing my regular size. (The half size up made them a little loose) If you want to wear these in the ocean, I'd suggest getting your regular size for a snug fit. Will probably buy another pair in my regular size.
