These gloves are great for swimming at the pool. The only thing I would recommend is that you buy a size up. They are definitely a close fit. The enclosed picture shows my hand size measurements. I went with the large and was glad I did because any smaller and they would’ve been almost too small. If I was a man and had a wider wrist I would actually recommend the extra large, since once the gloves are zipped, it is a very snug fit at the wrist. They seem to be a decent quality product though the material is a little thin. I swim five days a week at the pool but I have found that by following the directions and rinsing them out with tapwater after I swim they seem to be holding up very well. ... show more

I go to the pool three times per week. I have been using these type of gloves fr over 5 years. I started using my present gloves, not the ones I purchased since August, and they are still in good shape. I would say for the frequency I use them, it should last about 6-9 months.

Gloves work well. Gives your arms a good workout like using arm weight machine at the gym. Even XL is snug fit esp for first month or so, they become less tight as time goes on. Durability is fair. I use them about 1 hour a day, 6 days a week for water exercise. After 4 months they are very worn. At 6 months they are hanging by a thread and had to be replaced. ... show more

I bought several sets for a group of women and men. Every one loved them. They were used for week of dives so I not sure about the life of this product. They were handy reef diving because currents would sometimes push you into the reef. Being able to push off without touching the reef with a bare hand was a benefit. They do aid your ability to swim...at least that was my perception. As far as I'm concerned I've gotten my money out of them already. ... show more

Bought these water gear gloves for my husband. He uses them while snorkeling. He is very happy with them. They fit well. They performed well in the water. He said they were comfortable. Even after wearing them repeatedly, they are lasting. These are good quality gloves that are well made.

Great gloves. Well made and sturdy gloves I wanted the fingers to be closed not open and these were exactly what I was looking for. I found a quality product and was very happy with my purchase. They were a bit on the small side tho in the palm and I couldn't zip them at all in the wrists because I have very large hands for a woman and I didn't order the correct size !!! But that was my fault......so going up a size fixed the problem and i love the gloves for my 2x weekly physical therapy classes. Next time I'll pay closer attention to the sizing options. ... show more
