Appears to be a very sturdy stand for our Royal Berkey. I was even able to place a rather tall 28oz water bottle under it to fill. Make sure you consider how tall it will make your Berkey. This might seem obvious, but something to consider. I now have to use a small step stool to fill at the top but I like the convenience of the stand so much that it isn’t a bother at all. My only gripe with the stand is it came wrapped in a crazy amount of plastic wrap... and I’m not talking about shipping wrap. Like food storage wrap, and I can’t figure out why that was necessary. It had me saying, “what the actual F” out loud, but once I got it all off, I was pleased with how it looked and how easily it holds the Berkey.

Game changer! Should have ordered this years ago. I have the travel Berkey on it and the base is about an inch bigger all the way around than the Berkey is. Fits neatly on the counter, easy to get my half gallon bottle under the spigot, the non-feet keep it in place. So much easier to clean the counter with the water up on the stand.

Although one of the legs was shorter than the others, with the weight of the water filtration tank on it, the stand and system are stable (this is the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5). The rubber tipped stand legs are a smart design. The 8" height is great because it allows me to place my blender jar, or electric tea kettle jar, under the spigot for easy filling. Highly recommended.

I got this stand as my Berkey was either sitting on the edge of the counter or on top of an overturned pot. My Berkey doesn’t leak, but I’ve been known to accidentally leave the spigot open when it’s empty and then refill the upper container resulting in water all over the floor. So, this stand allows me to place it with the spigot over the edge of the sink, just in case. This also allows me to use the spray nozzle next to the sink to easily fill the top part. The stand feels very sturdy, however, it’s good to be aware that you may need to very gently splay the feet, so that it is as solid as possible. The rubber on the feet really helps keep this from scooting around.
