I haven't put these in water but they are very grippy, easy-to-put on slipper-like shoes that strongly give a feeling of walking barefoot, which I find very helpful since I have stability issues. These shoes allow my toes to spread out fully yet provide more grip on hardwood and tile floors than slipper socks do. They are more secure on the feet than flip flops or ballet flats. The velcro stays shut and they don't rub anywhere on the ankles. I bought the pastel multi-color style, which is less vibrant than I expected, but I plan to order more pairs in black or neutral, which will make them as chic as flats. They are breathable but a bit warmer than I had expected, but not uncomfortably so, and I prefer not to have cold feet anyway. ... show more

I enjoy reading their views of products that I am potentially going to purchase and they really do play a big role as to where I will purchase that product or not. I purchased these shoes because I was out of town and needed some water shoes to have for the pool. They look really cute on and they fit great. The only problem I have is that the insoles wants to come out or even slide when I'm wearing the shoes so I have to take my shoes off fix the insole again and that is not something I enjoy doing. I suppose you could glue the insoles down not sure about that. The price that you pay for these shoes was so cheap I couldn't believe it. My wife is a swim instructor and is in the water 8 hours sometimes 10 hours a day and she finds these help with her feet not getting so sore. We ordered multiple pairs in different colors so she could dry them out or switch pairs during the day.
