I know things don't last very long with kids+summer but still sad these didn't last too long in the pool. I bought these back in April. We use them twice in a small creek and for hiking/gem mining. Excellent. Splash pads and trips to the zoo, perfect! Pack them up for our Florida trip, for only five days in June. Pretty happy we had them. Kept the sand out mostly. One week at summer camp, they made it through all the activities! Then we hit up our pool for 4 days, and I'm thinking the material of the inside of the pool was just not shoe (or fabric) friendly. Unfortunately they didn't make it. But all good things, bc my boy actually loved wearing them. They are super comfortable, (soft, somewhat stretchy but not itchy) and easy to put on and they stayed in place. In my opinion they were excellent, just wished they were slightly more durable either in the toes or the seam (maybe with extra material in the toe area to prevent them splitting like this in the pool). Otherwise, everyone loved their shoes (five of us, even the baby) and definitely buying again. Maybe ordering up the size for my growing boy this second time around, since summer is still blasting here in NC. Happy customer!

We love water shoes like this for kayaking and going to the lake to swim. They have enough of a sole to protect your feet from most rocks and are flexible enough to be pretty comfortable to wear when boating or swimming. They are not great for hiking and we perfer a a more substantial water shoe for exploring rivers or brooks. Still we buy them every year. My 7 year old has extra wide feet and finding any shoes for her is a challenge. These are great because the material just molds to her foot.

I was shopping for swim shoes in store and was shocked that children’s swim shoes were fairly more expensive. I went to amazon and found cute swim shoes for an awesome price! They fit my 4 year old so great and he loves the sharks!
