I purchased this for my eight year old son who is fairly thin and the 10/12 size fits perfectly. I love the large hood and many pockets for him to put things. The pockets all Velcro closed as well so it’s more secure. The red color is great too! Very well made. The only complaint would be the zipper is pretty touchy as it gets the fabric stuck in it sometimes but after I showed my son how to hold the fabric back, it seems to work really well. ... show more

Purchased this for my 6 year old son and he is on the small side he is size 6T slim, the jacket is large on him but at least he will get a few seasons out of it, the hood is especially large. It seems warm and cozy and not too heavy of a coat.

Hoods a little big,but not overly big,I detached the fur part of the hood as my 6 yr old grandson didn't like it. The actual coat fit well and came quickly,very warm on cold days yet coat isn't overly bulky or heavy.

Great value for the price. My grandson said it is very warm for the cold winter days. It does not absorb water, no cold air going up the sleeves, rugged. Will not fall apart like some of the cheaper ones.
