Was very happy with this mural. It took my mom and me working together to successfully hang it but it wasn’t very hard and turned out great. (Took us less than 2 hours from start to finish.) A couple tips- make sure the wall behind the mural is all one solid color. As you can see in the picture, the walls on either side of the mural are a dark blue but before we painted, it was a light yellow and we only painted the blue about two feet in on each side since the mural would be covering the majority of the wall. In places where the mural is really light colored (like the sky or lights) we could see through the paper to where the blue paint met the old lighter wall color. We had to pull those end strips back and paint a lighter color in those areas to avoid seeing the border of where the two paint colors met. (Also, any darker marks on the wall will show through as well- so if it isn’t freshly painted, have a magic eraser or touch up paint ready.) Any little bump on the wall (even tiny places where spackle has been used to conceal nail holes) can be seen unless sanded really smooth. We had the sandpaper and a damp cloth ready to use in areas we didn’t realize would be so pronounced until the paper went over them. It was easy enough to just peel the paper back in those spots, sand, wipe, and restick as we went. Also, we found that using a level to get the first strip started is always a good way to begin with peel and stick wallpaper. After that, we let the entire strip hang to the floor (with the paper backing still attached) while just the first few inches were stuck to the wall by the ceiling. Then the other person would work to find the most intricate areas that needed to line up with the panel already adhered at the top. We basically let those areas dictate where the rest of the panel fell for the top/bottom and it worked out nicely. We did start each panel about a half inch up onto the ceiling to ensure none of them would gradually shift down, leaving a crack between the top of the panel and the ceiling. (This is where the level is important.) Seems like a lot to do, but once we got the hang of it with the second panel, it was pretty straightforward and my son LOVED it when we revealed his room to him. My other son has already insisted on having a similar one installed in his room next and I’m relieved that we are up for doing another one in the near future bc this was fairly painless and worth the price and work to install. :)

Worked perfectly giving a set of sliding mirrored doors a fun man cave facelift. Very time consuming to make sure you get out all the air bubbles and line it up perfect-but so worth it!!!

Great product!! Very easy to install. I was able to do a 12’ wall in a couple of hours. This was my first time doing this! Be careful of the height that you purchase. I ordered correct height, however, the instructions on the bottom must be included in their measurement because I was short about 3 inches.

I hung this mural by myself in a few hours. It is PERFECT. I'm updating my son's room from his little boy room to tween. This is just the right look for my sports fan. The thickness helped as I had to pull off and replace each sheet a time or two to get the overlap lined up. It never creased. I'm really impressed with the quality. I started from the middle and worked out since I knew I needed to trim the sides. You can overlap either way, so that worked out fine. I can't believe how good it turned out and I never even got frustrated or wondered what in the world I was thinking getting it! 5 out of 5!

This is the 5th 8' x 12' wall mural from Wall26 that I have installed. They are wonderful, heavy duty, easy to reposition and overall easy installation. Overall the colors are vibrant and clarity and sharpness are very very good even at this very large size. It really changes the look of a room and this one made a big baseball fan vey happy! Everyone that walks into the room comments on it. I walk into the room sometimes just to look at it. I had no problems at all with installation, even from my first one while standing on a chair in my office at the prison, lol.

Not sure why anyone said this was difficult to put up. It was pretty easy and I did it by myself. The graphics are amazing and the quality of the product is wonderful. It’s thick material and you can pull it off the wall to readjust many times. It comes in panels and they all matched up beautifully. I could not be more satisfied with the product. My advice is to cut the backing about half way and start there so that you get it lined up perfectly. An inch of overlap works every time. I highly recommend this product...you will not be disappointed and you can hang it easily with just one person.
