The media could not be loaded. I decided to purchase this after my 2004 Trailblazer EXT failed inspection because the tip of the exhaust, yes the tip, had a crack. The inspector deemed it as an exhaust leak and wanted $110 (TQ Tires) buck to weld it and a muffler shop (Big Al's) stated it's rusted out and couldn't be welded and quoted $230 to replace it, hmmm. My score is based on the condition of this system. Upon inspection, it's very clear that it was a return. Scared up and sharp burrs sticking out on it, the weld job looks shabby, the hangers have no bard on the ends to keep it from sliding out, no heat shields on the system as the original factor one does. This is system is also 2.50 OD while the original system is 2.5 OD. So I had to purchase a lap band, putty and tape to connect them. May be overkill, but hey. I decided no to return it because I wanted to get my truck back on the the road, hince a longer wait and lugging the box to a drop off site, but still a little dissatisfied that they'd ship something like to the customer. Fitted this to a 2003 trailblazer about a year ago. Direct fit once I cut the old rusty unit off. Decided on stainless since we live in the east coast and a mild steel variant will usually only last 2 *maby* 3 years. After a year alls good and no signs off rust or ware. Hoping this will last 4-5 years at least and so far that looks promising. As long as you can tighten a few bolts for the clamps and fidget with some rubber holders its an easy install. Hardest part is cutting off the old system, I recommend a Sawzaw or a good Dremal. ... show more

Ordered this item in 2019 when I finally dedicated to get it installed it was defected and there for wasn’t able to use it or get it changed

    • The pipe is to small and you will have to buy a pipe expander.
The big problem is that the pipe that this is supposed to go over was 2 3/4 and this pipe was 2 1/4 ID. So the engineers need to do the home work before making a replacement part.
