Obviously, $300-ish for an entertainment center is not a price where one can demand the finest of materials or designs. That said, $300-ish is something where one CAN demand honesty in design and general quality in implementation. You get neither with this. First, the veneer. Yes, it's a veneer. This is mentioned nowhere in the listing, but it is not real wood. It is low-quality particle board. I assumed the "reclaimed" wood was basically junk wood that had been resurfaced. That is asking far too much. The particle board is particle board, nothing more. The veneer, on the other hand, is basically a sticker. It doesn't even pretend at being real texture. This is at or below Walmart quality. It is dishonesty in design of the highest order. Second, the particle board itself is of such quality that any significant weights will cause deformation over time. That doesn't mean that it's overly low quality, only that this is an inevitability of particle board. It's not all bad, mind you. The design itself is very good. Holes lined up well. Instructions were easy to understand. Everything went together very well. If the materials themselves had been better, my score would be much higher. I strongly recommend against buying this. After having mine on display for about an hour, the cheap veneer became too much of an insult to my aesthetic sensibility to bear. I put the entire thing on my front lawn with a sign saying "free." It will likely be gone by the end of tomorrow. For free, it is a good deal. For the $300-something dollars I paid, it is not even a fair price; it is a bad price. ... show more

Way over priced, should be a 50$ table. Spun it around on the floor, upside down, while I was assembling the d*** thing...it scratched. Wouldn't buy again, but will be using coasters. Very cheap, thin laminate. DO NOT BUY, WILL NOT LAST LONG!!! Solid construction, thus far.

I have mixed feelings about this stand. It has a beautiful design and not too difficult to put together. After spending about an hour putting most of it together, I noticed that the top piece was bowing significantly, two of the crossbars had fallen off and had damage to one of he corners. At this point I was extremely frustrated as I did not want to spend another hour taking it apart, putting it back in the box, printing a label and driving all 115lbs of it to UPS. Amazon was understanding and gave me a partial refund as they could not replace the damaged part. What should have taken 90 minutes wound up taking almost 4 hours. I had to reverse the bowing with counter weights, use corner brackets to reinforce the top, and a decorative corner piece to hide the damage. I spent an additional $25 in hardware. (See images). I don’t mind a good project so the experience wasn’t terrible but certainly not for everyone. Maybe I received a defective item or maybe every item top has a bowing or bending to it. This is amazing. I have the matching end tables & tv stand, & all of them have impressed me greatly. They all have a decent weight to them, making them very sturdy. They aren’t cheap at all. I’m so happy with my purchase, & the color is great. (Grey Wash)

This same nightstand is under a different name but is available on wayfair, overstock and Home Depot. They all sell it for $100+ and I can see why! This is a great side table (we use it as a night stand) and you can’t best the price! The color is perfect (gray wash) and it is great quality. My husband had it together in 30 minutes. This piece was worth the money. You have to be realistic and understand that this is laminated particle-board furniture so you get what you pay for! This is not a solid wood hand-fabricated piece that you are dropping $400 on (so if you are comparing this to a high-quality piece and writing a bad review maybe you should spend the extra money and buy real wood furniture). It is a sturdy piece and doesn't look cheap. Great for an entryway with some picture frames and small plants, maybe a couple books. I got it in the "grey wash" it was hard to tell what I was getting because the picture of the table is a much darker grey than the samples (little circles) they show you on the company description. It was definitely the darker grey version when it arrived. I was hoping to match it as closely as possible to some weathered looking pieces I have in the living room but it is much darker.
