Well when together it looks pretty ok I think. The tiny screws for door stink and I bought others. The door sort of moved a bit as screw heads stripped but it’s ok now. Also directions seem off a bit with where a few parts go had to change some , but overall not bad to put together did alone. Some of the particle board …which in general sucks not just here, cracked …makes me mad but can’t see on inside and likely partly my fault but still wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t have to redo because of poor instruction. ... show more

It’s not perfect and I have no clue how long it will last, but I’m actually REALLY pleased with this buffet thing. I’d been looking for one for literally two years before choosing this one and have been hoping for the best since ordering. It arrived a few days early, which is amazing. Overall the instructions were a little muddy and weird at times so it could have been a little easier to put together, but it wasn’t awful by any means. It took my husband about two hours to pull out and clean the pieces (styrofoam packaging, beware), assemble everything, and load it up with all of the stuff we wanted to put on/in it. We were able to store some large cookbooks and baking books, our Hampton Beach countertop grill (does not fit in the cabinets at all), our 6 quart instant pot, a ninja xl air fryer, a waffle maker (handle folded) and some nesting mixing bowls. It seems relatively sturdy so far, but I’m writing this review half an hour after finishing so time will tell how it holds up. I’ll update if anything changes. Beware the cabinet doors: they were the most annoying part of the process because the hinges allow for variable mounting and it can be a bear to get them straight and even. ... show more

    • Decent sideboard for the cost

The overall construction of the sideboard is decent, definitely be careful while putting it together because the panels are all particleboard. When I initially received the package, one panel had been severely damaged in transit and I was unable to put the product together. I reached out to Walker Edison through their manufacturer website and they responded to me in about 2-3 days to send me a new sideboard. Overall it looks great in my home. It looks high quality and is a great color. I wish the doors were a bit sturdier, they feel the thinnest/cheapest out of all the pieces. The top was very heavy for one person to lift but basically guarantees it won't tip over easily. Took me about 1.5 hours to put together mostly on my own and I had to have to my husband help put the top on. Not hard at all if you go slow! ... show more

I’m devastated after having spent 2.5 hours assembling this until only to find. As a lather reviewer mentioned, the doors don’t fit. I really wanted to love this and probably would have if it assembled as shown.

The original package I received was damaged, but Cymax was quick to send me a replacement. The instructions are clear and it does take some time to put together but I am very pleased with the finished product. It fits perfectly in my apartment living room.
