I was looking for something to fill the space beside my table. This is a bit narrow but it works out and I think it looks pretty good. I do like the door design, it's unique enough but doesn't break the theme I'm going for. The instructions are pretty clear. The only thing I would change is to attach the doors before you put on the top. Screwing in hinges that are already difficult, is frustrating trying to do it while they are "floating" in the upper hinge hole. Also the top face board can be installed backwards with the silver screw receivers facing out instead of hidden inside so be careful. It looks great! It did take some time to assemble, but If you follow the directions it’s not difficult and they even provided the wood glue. Plus it shipped to Alaska without any damaged pieces!

    • Decent sideboard for the cost

The overall construction of the sideboard is decent, definitely be careful while putting it together because the panels are all particleboard. When I initially received the package, one panel had been severely damaged in transit and I was unable to put the product together. I reached out to Walker Edison through their manufacturer website and they responded to me in about 2-3 days to send me a new sideboard. Overall it looks great in my home. It looks high quality and is a great color. I wish the doors were a bit sturdier, they feel the thinnest/cheapest out of all the pieces. The top was very heavy for one person to lift but basically guarantees it won't tip over easily. Took me about 1.5 hours to put together mostly on my own and I had to have to my husband help put the top on. Not hard at all if you go slow! ... show more

The sideboard is super heavy and seems like really good quality. It definitely looks way more expensive than it was, cause the price is a bargain for what you get. Building it took me about 3 hours taking my time and being careful. The cap screw things wouldn’t tighten at all for me which was irritating, and the doors didn’t close at all which took about an hour of fidgeting to fix. After all that, we found several spots that were damaged that I’d missed unpacking it, which is super disappointing because now it’s too late to return it. I hate having brand new nice furniture that already had damage. But it’s nice otherwise. Update: I contacted customer service for the company about this four times requesting replacement parts over the past month. Only today did I get an email saying they were sending them. One of the doors was broken in half and one of the support panels was missing. Instead they shipped two of another panel, which woudn't work to replace the missing one. It's going back to Amazon. Unfortunately, I started with the assembly and noticed only half way through about the missing and broken parts.     • Set Aside An Entire Day To Assemble

If you're not mechanically inclined and don't have a workshop and 4+ hours to assemble, then don't buy it. Also, you'll need to buy some extra wood glue, because it just comes with a thimble of glue and you'll need much more for the endless wooden dowels.
