Doing keto, I was looking for a low carb dressing at 2-3g/carb per 2tbsp.. I set bar pretty low: a decent taste and flavor. Walden Farms flavors thousand island and ranch failed the test, big time. I typically would’nt even write this review but the taste was that bad, that disappointing and was compelled to warn others. I don’t expect great taste in a low carb dressing, just a modicum of taste and flavor to motivate me to eat more greens. I ate a teaspoon of each flavor, asking myself if I would then use on a salad. The answer was a resounding no, and I poured the rest of the just opened bottles down the drain. (Yeah, what a waste; however, what’s the point of keeping if I don’t like the taste and won’t use it. The thousand island had a taste that didn’t even hint of a traditional thousand island dressing of sweet and tangy, just very bland, watery, The ranch had a slimy feel (like okra) and no taste of typical ranch flavor of buttermilk and herbs. Just because the first ingredient in low carb dressing is water shouldn’t mean they have no taste. In my same order, I also tried another brand of low carb dressing they weren’t as bad, and the first ingredient is a water. As for the other brand, its bottle has the same shape a wishbone salad dressing.

This doesn’t taste like your normal ranch dressing so it is a little getting used to. It is a bit thin but with no calories, what do we expect I guess? The taste isn’t bad at all though if you do like ranch. It may not be what you’re used to but it doesn’t taste bad.

There is almost no flavor. I did a blind taste test with friends to see what they thought. I only said it's a new dressing I'm trying. The responses were: "It tastes sorta like Thousand Island, but bland" "It tastes like water and cornstarch" "Is this a joke, that's not food" after spitting it out. One thing I do not like about regular Honey Mustard Dressing is how sweet they are. Not a problem with this one. It's barely sweetened. That's a good thing for me. The negative is that it also has no flavor. There is no tang or spice. It seems like there is no mustard in it at all. I have tried adding yellow mustard, spicy mustard and dijon mustard seperately, and then tried mixing them in different proportions. I liked the result of mostly spicy mustard and a bit of yellow mustard added to the product to get some actual flavor. Conclusion: It's a good low calorie (it's not really 0) base to make your own flavored dressing. (If you can get it for under $4) But if you are looking for something ready-made, this is not it.

I have to say it, Walden Farms has created an excellent dressing for what it is meant to do and that's keeping your dietary regimen on track while still being able to have wet stuff on your salad! The only thing lacking in some of these dressings is flavor, but when you see how they pulled it off, your kind of surprised that they got as far as they did. I gave them 5 stars because at least for me, in my opinion, they created a solid product from very little, that is user friendly for folks who want a boost for their dietary needs. Taste, wants, and needs are subjective to the consumer however. The product ms worked for me when I was running a strict dietary plan. It helped take the edge off when I got weary of eating just plain vegetables. Last thought; Dressings are a little watery. Regardless, it accomplished what it was designed to do, keep you healthy and on track.

This stuff is terrible. I give it NO stars. It's very thin and watery. It has no flavor and left a sharp aftertaste on my tongue. I talked with a friend who had tried a different flavor. He had the same criticism I had. It spoiled my salad. It would have tasted better plain without any dressing.
