This product was nothing like a jam, when I got it out of the jar it was gloppy, I tried to spread it on a piece of toast and it wouldn’t stick when I picked the toast up the gel fell off couldn’t get it to stay on the bread, the taste was absolutely horrible will never buy again!

The flavor is somewhat appley but it isn't apple butter flavor or texture. More of a apple jam. It was overpriced for what I got.

    • Flavour is the best part
The flavour is excellent, and that is the most important attribute. It does not spread like jam so it can be a little messy as the gel lacks coherence as it is sugar free. Serving direct from the refrigerator does help in this regard.

I had high hopes for this stuff but it was disappointing. It isn't at all apple butter. It's the same consistency as all their other spreads - jello surrounded by a little bit of flavored liquid. It doesn't taste too bad, but it isn't as advertised.

It is not pureed. It is not your usual apple butter. It is weird, chunks of apples and in a soupy liquid. I can't stand it. It is a shame I cannot return my unopened jar!!! If you like regular apple butter, I warn you, this is not your regular apple butter. It's expensive and doesn't live up to it's name. It's awful. ... show more

The consistency is definitely like a jelly/jam not like a traditional apple butter. This did not matter to me. The taste was really a great deep apple flavor with just the right amount of spices. I would and have purchased again.
