I was looking for a comforter with soft and masculine touches that my husband would also like. This was a perfect compromise and he absolutely loves the color, the style and the overall comfort. It has to be one of the softest comforters we have ever purchased (we have purchased quite a few since we have 5 bedrooms). This by far is something I wish came in different colors to put in every room! I washed it prior to me putting it on the bed and the color didn't fade or lose the soft texture it had when un-packaging. We bought a king size, and it fits pretty nicely. I do wish it was a little bigger, but I think it may be because of our mattress height or type of bed we have (12" hybrid mattress, and a standard bed, not platform). I know it didn't shrink or anything like that. It comes with King size pillow coverings, so keep that in mind. You need a King pillow! The colors are true to the picture. I just want to crawl in bed with this comforter everyday, all day! Going to try and see if I can get something similar from the same manufacturer. ... show more

So it looked like the pattern and material was elevated and textured almost like silk in the picture, but it's actually more an optical illusion of texture based on the colors and shadows. Standing away it could almost look like embroidery details But up close it's just stamped. Little disappointing but it still looks nice on the bed. I'd bought another color by this brand years ago and loved it. The texture of that one felt like natural cotton. This one is more of a slick feeling...the weight is very soft and fluffy though. It washed well but make sure it doesn't sit in the dryer. Even though I used low heat, there were some slightly melted spots with the filling from where it sat on one side in the barrel of the dryer. I was able to separate the cover from the filling in those spots but it was a little distorted in those areas. But despite all that, since it looks really nice in our room and feels so good to sleep under, I'll give it a good rating. ... show more

I ordered the gray floral print with the birds. It was not bright and colorful as the pictures indicate. The birds and flowers look embroidered in the pictures but they are not! The print is dull. The fabric is soft but it's a very flat, thin comforter. The print on it makes it look cheap. The pillow cases don't reach the ends of the pillows enough for them to close properly. Overall just drab and gray and gave a "dark" feeling to the room. This comforter wasn't cheap so I'm returning it for a refund. Hope I have better luck with the new one I ordered! ... show more

This beautiful comforter was delivered quickly and packed properly-in a small air vacuumed bag and was very easily removed! It had just a small amount of wrinkles when it was fully unpacked. It puffed up just fine and it’s so soft and comfy!!! Hubby and I love it! It goes perfectly with our velvet Grey headboard! I washed it on cold and dried it lightly and it came out perfectly! I would highly recommend this comforter to a friend or family member! Color is like slate blue/grey and hints of gold yellow or wheat colors! This comforter was a great purchase. It is very thick and soft and seems to be of good quality. When i received it in such a small package, I was afraid that it was very thin. But then I realized it was vacuum packed and when I opened the package it fluffed up right away. I am VERY happy with the quality, but I feel I must caution about the color. Half of my bedroom is painted midnight blue. This comforter is a very unusual color. Until I put it in my bedroom, it looked decidedly grey. That was not what I was hoping for. But, when I got it in there it looked far more blue. I was very happy with that. I think that in a grey area it will appear grey and in a blue room the blue will dominate. I feel anyone who orders this will be pleased. I am! ... show more
