I posted a previous review (below). The company got hold of me and replaced the item with a new one that has a modified vent clip. Because of the new design it seems unlikely to break (see 2nd photo). In limited testing it is holding my phone better than the original even before the original clamp broke. I commend Waitiee for their attention to their customers complaints. Previous review: Thought this was going to be a great solution. However, I should have read more of the 1* reviews. Great product for maybe a day, before the thin plastic clip snapped in half. Now it can’t attach to the car vent so it’s basically useless. Such a bummer and a waste of money. Go spend an extra $20-30 on a magsafe car charger that works. EDIT: I contacted the seller and they immediately sent a replacement clip - it’s a different clip and seems way more sturdy, so fingers crossed. I appreciated the quick help. EDIT 2: The seller was super nice and quickly sent a replacement clip, which is different from the original. It's been great in my car, and I've had no issues with either charging, mounting, or removing my phone from the magnet. Very happy with my purchase! ... show more

I was skeptic of buying an “off-brand” magnetic car charger because I know that finding a strong magnet that will work properly with a mag safe case can be difficult. However, I love this magnetic car charger!! It sits in my air vent perfectly and I’ve never had an issue with it falling out. I’ve had it for over a year now and just ran into an issue where the front of the magnet disconnected from the back. I contacted the seller and they replaced it right away, which made me so happy because I have had no problems with it leading up to that. My phone always stays secure (and I always have my mag safe case on when using it) and it has never fallen off driving over uneven/rocky roads. Highly suggest saving some money and avoid buying the name brand car charger, and try this one!! ... show more

I bought this MagSafe charger after I got a good recommendation from a friend who also owns this charger. It works well with an iPhone 14 with an otterbox symmetry case. It’s clips to the air vent and seems pretty secure. The phone stays on perfectly. It has a USB C power port on it and comes with a wire and a power adapter to plug into a 12 volt receptacle (cigarette lighter style) ... show more

    • Clip snapped - bad quality clip
A good charger with a strong magnet. Worked great for charging my iphone mini until ... the alligator clip holding it to the vents broke. It looks to have a weak point right where the clip closes - and unfortunately receives a lot of pressure when attaching it to the vent. Great product otherwise. Update: vendor sent me a new clip and even explained that they were getting a new clip vendor and asked if I’d be okay waiting a few weeks otherwise he was concerned I may have the same issue. To me this says they actually take pride in their products quality and their transparency and willingness to take meaningful steps to fix the issue were great. We all make mistakes, but how they handled it was 10/10 ... show more

Holds the phone in place correctly and provides enough power to charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I was loving this charger until this morning the plate came off form the base. Seems like with the summer heat the glue just gave up.

    • Great idea! But…
I have amended my original rating from two to three stars. The company reached out to me and informed me that they have switched manufacturers and would like to send me a replacement from the new manufacturer. I told them I would amend the rating from two to three stars for their customer service. I will update this review after I’ve had some time with the new product. Original Two-Star review: I really like this product, and I wish I could have given a higher rating. The plastic that holds the hinge to clamp onto the vent snapped inside within 3 months of light use. It holds the phone securely and charges decently well, although I am not critical to have quick charging; It seems to charge like any other wireless charger not fast or slow. I will continue to use it until the mount’s hinge completely fails and won’t stay attached to the vents anymore. After that, I may still use the actual charging head without the mount in some capacity, because it works fine. It’s the mount that is faulty. It’s possible I only received a lemon with a weak hinge, and for the money, I am tempted to just buy another one. But then we are talking the cost of a nicer phone mount/charger, and I would have rather spent the money on that instead of replacing this one a few times a year. I’d say it’s worth a try, but know that it’s made of plastic (and be careful not to tighten it down too much on the vent so you don’t break it…I felt like I was careful, but mine broke eventually…still functioning though! Just less secure of a mount to the vent). ... show more
