The book is wonderful. Anyone who loves the western series from years past would enjoy such books about the cast members of each western series as well as the many pictures and thoughts by the various cast members.

Wagon Train, the TV show really interested me all of a sudden during the pandemic. I was unaware that a 1950s Hollywood TV series could have that much depth to it, and fine acting, as Wagon Train did, and still does. So, James Rosin's book is great. The first 58 pages of selected interviews is a highly worthwhile read. I will always keep this book on hand.

Wonderful book. A combination of reference material of all the episodes with information on the story line and those starring.Much more than that - great photos , thumbnail biographies, anecdotes and insights into the actors' characters and behind the scenes glimpses of how it was all put together to make such a successful series. It is a well written and well produced book that I find completely immersive. As a long time fan of Wagon Train and of Robert Horton in particular I'm reliving my youth!

This book is a comprehensive study of the series. It not only has photos of the main stars and co-stars, it also has photos of some of the episodes for the full eight seasons. It includes comments and details from many of the actors who co-starred and guest starred in the series, as well as biographies. Each episode is listed with a synopsis and who guest starred in it. It's fascinating to get the inside story from the comments that many of the actors have made, which sheds a new light on the inner workings of the series. It's a must for any Wagon Train aficionado.

i am disappointed in this book. its my fault, this is the 1st Television Series book i ever purchased & i thought i was purchasing something other than what is contained in this book. I thought i was buying a book loaded with behind the scenes stories during the years of filming Wagon Train. while the 1st 58 pages are short interviews with people who worked & guest starred on the Show, pages 59 to 140 are B&W photos, nice to look at, & the remainder of the book is a list of the episodes with short description of the show, followed by more B&W photos, then a short biography of the stars. except for the 1st 58 pages, everything else can be obtained online. so the book was not what i expected or wished it was, but for others you may find this book a wealth of information you may want on your bookshelf.
