I had purchased these once before. What arrived was actually chicken jerky. So, I order a few more bags, and the packaging is the same, but this is not jerky. This is some processed junk that is soft and easy to chew through. My 8 pound chihuahua/poodle mix tears right through these, and he is such a light chewer that he has never even been able to chew through the plastic tips at the end of my shoelaces. This is definitely not jerky---its just processed stuff stamped into the same shape every other piece of "jerky" in the bag looks like. ... show more

I make jerky for my dogs, and have done so for MANY years. Now, I’m a disabled senior, and it’s very hard for me to do it. I still make it, but not like I used to! I needed jerky as a fill in for my dog. I was using another brand, but saw this and the great ratings, and good price, so I switched. When I opened the bag, I knew I had made a mistake. It DIDN'T smell like chicken! But I broke off a piece, and it saw immediately that it WASN't chicken! It was shaped like jerky, but that's all! It is VERY dark, has the look and texture of every "moist" treat I’ve ever seen. It's moister than chewable heartworm pills! Duh! My dog HATES this kind of treat, but it broke it up and offered it anyway. He smelled it, then jumped off the chair to avoid the smell! I bought several bags. I'm returning several bags! Yuck! If you're looking for jerky, keep looking! You won't find it here! ... show more

The very first time I ordered these it was for $6 for a 1lb bag and the only ingredients were chicken, glycerin and salt. The price had tripled when I went to buy them again so I skipped about a month and purchased a second time once the price seemed slightly more reasonable. What I got this time was over processed, highly seasoned, pressed humus. It smelled so strongly when I opened the bag that I gagged. I wasn't expecting that. I have to admit that these treats seemed to be enjoyed by my german shepherd...until he started scratching constantly again. I have him on apoquel for allergies. While I try not to feed him anything with corn in it, and these treats did not list corn in the ingredients, he started scratching again non-stop after about thirty minutes of the first treat. I stopped the treats for about two weeks and attempted to test it again. Same results. This new stuff is unacceptable for my bubble dog. He ended up with huge allergy problems with these and had runny stool in the yard. Do not recommend unless they revert back to the original formula at a reasonable price. Shame on you Wag. My dog is SUPER SPOILED (don't know who did that). She really likes these and a big bag compared to anything at the grocery store. She even "fake pees" to get a treat.....lol.

Within 3 weeks these were so hard! When I opened them I always put into another plastic zip up bag but my dog couldn’t chew them and they started splinter apart.

I didn't even know Amazon made dog treats! I happened to get some during "Prime Day". My first pleasant surprise was that you get alot in the package. I wasn't even done opening the package when all 3 of my dogs came jumping on me for a treat. The only time they do that is when I bring them a certain brand of treats ( in a yellow package and has bacon) But with this one, they gobbled them up so fast!! Definatly going to order more for them. All 3 doggo approved!!! ... show more

Both my rescues absolutely loved these. I got a very picky Boxer & for her to barely even sniff it & eat it that quickly was nice to see finally. And my little girl from TJ tore it up as well.
