EDIT a few days after original review: This seller is amazing, I rarely receive seller contact after a review. They are making it "right" and I have asked them if they have a thicker product for purchase here. If you would like to try this product, it seems little risk due to their customer service. Though I had challenges with this contact paper, when I did get it right, the result is very nice. I think on a flat surface with smaller items this product would work better. I was using it on magazine file folders to give a neat library appearance, and folding around a 3D object is challenging with this thinner paper. A thicker paper is needed for this task (I have used another that worked very easily but it was far thicker). Hint: I have learned to chick the shipping weights to determine thickness of the paper. You can see the weight of this roll, for a given length, and compare it against other highly rated rolls of contact paper / peel and stick wallpaper. This is a budget product. Original review 3 stars: This is thin and hard to use. It looks good where you can apply it smoothly, but it is easy to have a wrinkle, and then if you lift to fix the wrinkle, it tears, or the adhesion is too strong to allow repositioning without stretching or making it worse. I picked the grey-blue color. It may be hard to tell but in person it has a more blue undertone than I would have liked it to be. I’ve ordered the black and yellow colors before and had no issues with those colors but this one I wish was more grey.

For the price it's not too bad, but there's definitely inconsistencies with the color through the roll. I wanted to make an arch wall for my desk and this was the perfect size and color for what I needed. But something I noticed as I had already cut the pieces and put two of them up was that the color is not consistent through the roll. You can see how every piece is a different shade. I cut all the pieces in the same direction, so it can't be that the color looks different because I flipped the roll the other way. Since I was already halfway through my progress, I decided to bite the bullet and just finish it, but it is definitely a little bit annoying. If you only need to do one line of the roll somewhere or have them spaced out and not directly next to each other, it could work out well for you, but beware if you have to line them up. On the bright side, it seems durable and easy to work with, because I could easily pull some parts off the wall and reapply where I wasn't happy with it, and it didn't rip and reapplied still just as sticky. ... show more

The application process was easy enough but I found circular creases within the roll that was difficult to disguise. I applied a little extra wall paper glue because it easily lifted from the wall and i know it wouldnt survive these humid summers in the New England region. I can only imagine other places in the southern region of the country. It may have been an older roll? It didn't go as far as it should have as well. It may have just been that roll so I am going to order more because I do love the texture as it feels like a freshly painted smooth wall and disguised the existing creases in the drywall well eith minimal bubbles to work out. I bought this to use on the back side of my china cabinet to give my dishes a pop of color. And I wanted something that wouldn’t change my cabinet forever. Very easy to use, it took all of 30 minutes for my project. It added the color I wanted without damaging my cabinet. It’s perfect!

The material has a very strong chemical smell to it, the color shown is not the color you get. The color in real life is very bright instead of a duller blue. The paper isn't cut 100% straight and you do have to compensate to the point of having to trim and retrim it yourself.     • More like plastic with adhesive than contact paper.

If you have a perfectly smooth area, this should work. If you need to work around corners or other round areas this isn't going to work for you. This is thicker and plastic (think shower curtain liner material) rather than the usual contact paper. There really isn't much texture. As such, you can't ease it around corners without it stretching slightly and making white marks on the blue "paper". If your blade isn't perfectly sharp, white edges. (Four brand new blades were used in a project that was 2 foot by 6 foot and still could see nearly every edge, scissors may have worked better?) If you try to pull firmly to turn a corner, white edges. If you make contact with something other than your intended surface and pull it up to try again the pulling will cause the product to, you guessed it, turn white. So long as you are aware of this, it's a great product. Didn't work for my project with a rounded area in the middle but for flat surfaces even ones that will be exposed to water, this would work great. ... show more
