I have worked with these types of wallpapers before. This one isn't as easy to put up as some of the others, and it will tear if you aren't careful. However, I found that this one was much easier for me to work with by cutting the paper in half before putting it on the wall - especially if you are working in a small area. It was so much easier to put it up that way, and with this one you can do that because you don't have to match any pattern up. This was perfect for me: applying onto foamboard to insert some color and texture to the back of a bookcase, and for cheap. I also found it easy to work with (but should note that I made vinyl banners briefly in a past life so had a transferable skillset). This might not be for you though: * it is “repositionable” rather than “removable” - I was able to peel it up and reapply when I put it on crooked, but it left quite a bit of adhesive behind. * it is on the thin side, so will show any textural imperfections of your wall and tears fairly easily. this was one of the easiest paper installs I've ever done. it really is a random match so you don't have to worry about lining up patterns. as long as the first panel is level it's a walk in the park after that. My bathroom is huge and needed a little something to make it feel less industrial. I covered a total of about 98sqft of wall in about 2 hours, that's including taking the light fixtures and mirrors down then putting them back up. I ran a bead of clear silicone where the paper meets the counter so no water can get behind it and even with the steamy shower nothing has moved or lifted from the walls. ... show more

I wanted to give my guest bedroom an accent wall, to break up some of the white. The peel and stick wallpaper was a perfect solution. Once the first piece was placed, I found it very easy. I do recommend this product, especially if you live in an apartment.

This paper gave me just what I was looking for. I wanted something that sort of stood out while at the same time, absorb some of the overly large room that wall is in. I also needed it to work with the color of all the wood in this home (we just bought it). It’s not my preferred color of wood, but there is too much to change so I have to work with it. The final picture that shows the wall done is the truest color, it’s sort of a deep teal blue-green. I have used many different kinds of peel and stick wallpapers and this one by far gave me the most trouble. When I first felt the stickiness of this paper I thought this isn’t going to stick to anything. It turns out that it sticks to everything! I did have to reposition in a few spots and it took some doing. I find this paper to be somewhat difficult to reposition. I found that if I peel the backing off in about 12 inch increments that that was the easiest to work with and prevent bubbles. This paper also took a fair amount of abuse before it stretched out and rippled. There is no way possible to line up the texture. It is a linen texture and looks and feels like linen. It also acts like linen. I have a brand new wool rug next to the wall where I put this and all the little fibers clung to this paper. If you have a dog, I expect dog hair to stick to this paper as well due to the texture. Depending on the sunlight, some of the seams might show more than others no matter how well you line them up. I believe in the description that this paper was described as “renter friendly”. I would not use this in a renter situation. On the spots I had to reposition, or if it needed to be removed to move out, the adhesive leaves a sticky residue behind. It would require a great deal of clean up to get that off so I would not recommend for renters. I had to use a little Murphy’s soap to get the adhesive residue off where it touched my wood trim. Overall I am happy with it for now. I bought 1 huge roll with more than I needed so I would not have to worry about color match. UPDATE: Just a bit of advice~ It's been a couple weeks now. I still like the paper, however, there were a few spots where I had to shimmy the seams together when I was hanging it and they have separated. The paper shrinks a touch as it sets into place. So when you hang this paper make sure you line up the seams without and pushing, sliding, shimmying, don't do anything to help it line up because it will shrink and show. Unfortunately the wall underneath was a light cream color and the separated seams show against the dark paper. So every morning I squish the seams back together and every night they are separated again. Its very frustrating, but it is my own doing. I treated it like actual wallpaper when it is not, it is contact paper and not meant to be stretched at all. ... show more
