    • This tool set belongs in every refrigeration technician’s tool bag.

This tool set has all the basic tools you need to work with air conditioning and refrigeration lines. A tubing cutter that can cut 1/8 to 1 1/8 inch tubing. A deburring tool with ergonomic handle and replaceable blade. And six drill bit (¼, 3/8, ½, 5/8, ¾, and 7/8 inch) swaging tools. The old hand swaging punches did the job, but it took practice to master them, and there was always the chance of making a swage that wasn’t big enough, or making one that was too large, even with years of practice. These swage bits prevent that. Select the proper bit, chuck it up in your drill, and run it into the tubing until the lip seats against the end of the tubing and you get a perfect swage every time. I had known about these tools but never tried them until I received this free set to evaluate and review. Now, after having used this set almost daily for a couple of months, I wish I had made the switch sooner. These tools at $19.99 are a true value. As part of my job, I sometimes have to repair refrigerant circuits. I have an actual swaging tool, but these little tips are smaller and you can get in areas with them and an impact that angles may not let you fit the swaging tool. The cutter is just a normal tubing cutter and works the same as most I've used. Better than some, not as good as others. Same with the deburring tool. Overall, they do the job without any issues and are far, far cheaper than tools from one of the national supply stores ... show more
