First - these are US size, so if you are used to ordering UK sizing, you'll need to know an H in this bra is going to be a couple cup sizes too small. Having said that, this is by far the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. No, they aren't sexy lingerie, but they don't look quite like something from the 1950's either. I'm at an age where comfort wins every time. I'm also a very large cup for someone who's only 5'3" (170lbs). I typically wear a UK size 36H - which translates to a US 36J/K depending on brand. This bra is sold in US sizing and the largest it goes is 36I. Even at 2 cup sizes too small for me (US 36I), I'll wear it because it's so incredibly comfortable - the cup fabric is also very forgiving. While the underwires don't lie completely flat in the center front (cup too small) I'll still wear them because at the end of the day I am still comfortable. The cups are also totally smooth, so if you wear under knit fabrics like T-shirts, it's incredible. It doesn't provide very good nipple concealment, so if you don't like it to be obvious that you HAVE nipples, or if your headlights are always on, you may not like this bra. However, there are two layers of fabric, so that does help. Side support means the girls are more front & center than they are in other soft cup bras. Soft cups are remarkably supportive. There is some jiggle but adjusting the shoulder straps a bit tighter eliminates most of it. The underwires generally don't dig in on the sides (under armpit), even when I'm buying 2 cup sizes smaller than I need. I have gotten two that dug in - both were black. I don't know if the black just does this or if it was a quality control issue. All of the "sand" versions I've purchased so far have been fine. The band is two layers of super soft fabric, with the elastic sandwisched between them - this means no chafing like other brands. It's also considered "bandless" meaning there's no extra trim under the cups. I noticed today when I restocked, that the price was significantly less, almost half of what it was previously... I hope this means they aren't discontinuing this style because finding a bra this comfortable is virtually impossible if you aren't a D cup or smaller. I just purchased 10 of these so I don't have to wear them more than one day in a row, and I have one to wear plus a spare when I'm washing the others. The last time I purchased these was 2 years ago and they have held up remarkably well. I wash in the machine in a zipper bag with my other light colored clothes (normal cycle, warm) and hang to dry. They'd probably last even longer if I hand-washed them but who has time for that?

I like this bra, but it is not perfect for me. It isn't bad at all, though. Here is my list of pros and cons: Pros: - The fit is standard. I tend to like Warners, because I have a big back and Warners usually makes a bigger band and a slightly smaller cup. In Warners, I can take a 38D or a 38C. In most other good quality brands, except some of the French ones, I need a 40C. This bra fits well, so I think the size is very standard. You probably don't want to size up or down. - I love the colour! I like red, anyway, but I have repeatedly read and heard that it magically disappears under clothing. I do not like visible underwear, and I was really tempted to try it. Well! Not only is the colour very pretty in itself, but I tried it under a white t-shirt and... I couldn't see it! The trick is true! Completely invisible! My skin is not red, but I could not see the bra, and the t-shirt is just regular, thin cotton that I would not wear a white bra under, as it would shine through like crazy! So, this comes highly recommended! - The edging in the décolleté is a pretty touch as well and also did not show through the tee. The tee isn't tight, though, and, since I am reaching the end of my fifties, you will have to rely on someone else to tell you whether it shows under a skin-tight top. I don't have any! I was going to say "cons", but this is more a matter of taste. Personally for me, these points have both good and bad sides: - Obviously, this is an underwire bra. I had stopped those for a while. I wanted a red bra and wanted to order a good brand that I knew would fit, and this is what I found. The underwire is not uncomfortable as underwires go, and of course you get more lift and separation than with bras that rely on a bit of foam to keep you in place. I think it has a place in my wardrobe. - The good thing (for me) about underwires is that they enable you to have unlined bras. I live in a hot country, and I am also top heavy (only a C, but also a wide chest and shoulders and relatively slim hips). So, for the sake of a slightly more balanced silhouette, I don't really like to add bulk above the waist. So I like having a thinner bra. The material is quite stretchy, however. I don't know how it would work on a really big cup. It does add to the comfort factor, but if I weren't still somewhat firm it might bother me. Also, with the thin tee, I had headlights. But I wear a lot of cotton or linen shirts (the heat!) and they won't show under those. Overall, it is a good bra. I got it on sale for $42, which is about as high as I go. I was eyeing the beige, but it was seventy-something. That may be a normal price, and Wacoal is a good brand, but I wouldn't pay that, personally, unless I really wanted to treat myself, and then I would by a lacey French confection that would make me feel fancy! I am satisfied with this purchase and the red underwear trick actually does work, which is super cool!

UPDATE: I should have waited a bit longer for a review. While I still appreciate the extra layer of fabric over the underwire, which really helps make the wire more comfortable, it took me a few hours to notice this really uncomfortable hard piece of fabric at the end of the wire in the underarm area. The bra sits pretty high up into the armpit area and this hard piece of fabric folds in toward your body and just pokes your underarm all day. This is so uncomfortable and completely ruins the bra! Wacoal can you please make a bra with a comfortable wire that also doesn't poke me in the armpit! Please! Original comment: I want to say a huge thank you to whoever designed this bra. I have been searching for a great full coverage bra that is soft, comfortable, doesn't itch anywhere, and isn't too heavy or bulky. This is the most comfortable underwire bra I have found. The only thing I don't care for is the inner sling (I feel like I would have a better shape without it) although I know some people need the support so I can't fault Wacoal for putting it in there. In regard to the other reviews.. yes this bra has no padding, and yes your nipples may show through... however you have to remember that not everyone wants a molded bra, so if you want something with padding then you should look elsewhere. This bra, without padding, is exactly what I want/need for my body, but it may not work for everyone. I'm just glad that I could find this bra online because I would never have found it in a local store. Thank you Wacoal... please never stop making this bra!!

I found this in the store at our local mall, and loved it SO MUCH that I ordered another. I was happy that they had my size. Worried you'll get stuck with an icky bra type because of your rare size? No worries! This is so buttery soft. And the gentle stretch makes it fit perfectly, even if you have a slight difference in your cup size (which most women do!). A stiffer bra with foam, for instance, will just give you a gap on the smaller side, because naturally you don't want too small of a cup to where you are pillowing out. I ended up buying two black and two light-tone.
