  • Unique design provides unmatched lift and comfort
Size: 32G Color: Flint Stone
This bra has a unique design, which makes it super comfortable while providing unmatched support. The underwire is very large but its on the outside of the bra, rather than inside. Ive seen a lot of comments about the bra being made backwards and hooks being on the wrong side. They were just confused by the unique design. The only drawback would be that the central wires stick high up and may be visible if you wear a tight shirt. Not a problem for me as I do not wear tight shirts to minimize attention to my large chest (32G). Also something to note, because this bra provides a lot of lift, I feel it makes me look more trim like I lost 5-10 lbs. Huge bonus. I will be purchasing more. ... show more

  • Best Sports Bra for endowed women!
Size: 38I Color: Sand
Best sports bra I've ever had for a large breasted person. Listen to reviews... I bought 38I... could have used a J but not offered. The waist band is tight. My ribs are 37" and the 40 band is VERY snug, so don't go small on this. However, it provides great support. (I tried a 40" but it was too large.) The shoulder straps are also very snug. I put on longest length and is snug. I tried one and ended up buying 3. Been wearing them about a month and love them. I do wash in a lingerie bag and air dry. So far no problems. Very happy! ... show more

  • Wacoal Sports Bra for Post op recovery after Lumpectomy.
Size: 38DD Color: Black
I ordered this at the request of my oncology surgeon after a lumpectomy. I ordered a couple days prior to surgery and received it the day before! I had to wear it for four days and four nights after surgery. It fit perfectly and was comfortable.

  • 4yrs using this bra and still going
Size: 40G Color: Black
Hate that Soma stopped carrying these bras. Spending $81 is ridiculous. But I stand by this bra, it's comfortable, it holds the girls in without pooling on the sides or front. It's a great bra, just hate the new price I have to pay for it that's why it's only 4 stars.

  • My Favorite Bra
Size: 34D Color: Carnevale Pink
My favorite bra! Great quality. Good color. Right amount of material/padding in the cup area. This is a wired bra so keep that in mind. The way the wire is constructed provides excellent support / hold and the right amount of 'lift' whether wearing the bra for athletic purposes or for every day use. Right amount of weight. Regarding fit I would say the band area is slightly snug which is perfect if you are using the bra for athletic purposes although it might be a tad snug if you decide to use this as an every day bra. However I luv this bra so much I do wear it for every day use and I know I have 4. : ) ... show more

  • Harness of Horrors
EDIT: technically, this is called an 'outerwire' bra. Picture nor description conveys that. In short, the underwire you see, is SEPARATE from the cups. The cups, are really a UNIBOOB sheath. That's why the center underwire won't lie properly against the breastbone. Original review follows below. ============== Whoever designed this bra for the buxom, did it to torment them. Or, actually intended this bra be used as a twirling slingshot for cantaloupes, just like my siblings used to do with my bras, when I was in high school? Details follow, but the most important flaw is this: THEY MADE THE SEAMS SCRATCHY. Shoulda been common sense, that you don't put the seams and all that scratchy thread, on the side which will touch the skin. Nice quality fabric and sewing, so the fault is the design, not the manufacture. Candy apple red, maybe even fire-engine red. And the thing doesn't breathe. But is supposed to be a sport bra? Since it takes a good five minutes to put on, you do spend more calories; but once the bra is on, it's so hot you begin chafing right away. Bra cuts into armpits, even with band extenders; however, I inserted removable bra straps, to correct the TOO-SHORT-STRAP design. For there's only six inches of strap, and it won't stretch. Strap also has little segments to insert the strap rather than traditional adjustable straps; thankfully one can then insert removable bra straps (with hooks at BOTH ends; can't find them here in Amazon). This is the only way to 'redeem' bra usage. I did that, so can FINALLY wear the bra in some comfort. Underband beneath the underwire, still curls upward. They made the band wrong: you should create a STRAIGHT (not curved), thick and 1" to 1.5" deep felt elastic band BENEATH the underwire as an anchor. This type of banding is routine for non-underwire bras; they SHOULD do it routinely for underwire bras, as the underwire pulls the bra upward, so itself needs to be pulled DOWN. Wacoal fails to do this, so chafing results, or breast tissue falls beneath the wire. So again, design is bad, Wacoal allegedly-female designers are NOT empathetic with the needs of buxom women. Size is way off, too. I ordered my correct size after measuring and reading the Wacoal sizes; yet this bra is easily two sizes too small in the band and straps. Again, it's cut too high. The underwire is also way too high, with the result that you can't wear the bra except with turtleneck or high crewneck t-shirts. Rest of the bra is microfiber stretch, creating a UNIBOOB which forces the underwire to pouch out, so it cannot lay against your breastbone, due to the interior UNIBOOB lining. You can't tell all these design flaws until you actually try on the bra, given how it's wrapped in the package. So of course you can't return it, lest someone claim she got sick from your skin... oy vey. The right design, by contrast, would leave out that UNIBOOB lining, or at least make it more stretchy, so the wires can lay against the breastbone and separate, lift, as is the point of underwire bras. Additionally, they need to add a huge thick felt STRAIGHT elastic band BELOW the wire, since the band's job is to hold up your boobs (never use your straps to lift them). In short, a GOOD bra would be seamless-cup (and this one is), so would not have scratchy strap/band seams against the skin, would have long WIDE adjustable but non-stretch straps for ample adjustment, would have BREATHABLE material, and a thick STRAIGHT (not curved) supporting felt elastic band (a good inch or two wide) BELOW the underwire. This bra only has the seamless cup. So on every other count, it FAILS. Seriously, Wacoal needs to go back to bra school. They have no idea what works in a bra. That they have so many customers, means their customers are clueless, too. So I too was clueless when buying, but no more. The closest bra I've found to meet the above requirements (except it lacks underwire) is called 'reversible bra' and is sold by BCOutlet here in Amazon (see my review); it's cheap but good quality, washes well, dries quickly, with a molded cup and swimsuit slide closure, REMOVABLE straps (yay). But it needs the wire. That's a problem, I can easily correct. Pity Wacoal bra design, isn't so savvy. ... show more

  • Just got in the mail and already well pleased!
Size: 36D Color: Henna
I was looking for something to replace my Bali minimizer bras as for some reason, they have been causing soreness in my breasts. My Dr said to go without wire bras but I can’t seem to find one that holds me in properly. While this bra has a wire, it is on the outside and cushioned inside. It has fantastic support while not going overkill and making me feel like I am wearing a breast plate of armor. I normally wear 34DD-36D in Bali bras and this bra fits me perfect in a 36D. What turned me on to this bra is that it’s a sports bra but holds the breasts separate rather than mushing them together in the middle. Someone else had commented that they appreciated that attribute about this bra and they were absolutely right! If anything changes in my review, I will be sure to update it. I am well pleased! This was twice the cost of my Bali bra I usually buy, but so far worth every Penny and I hope to order more colors soon! Hope this helps others and I really appreciate it when others take time to leave feedback on Amazon too! ... show more

  • Decent bra but wish it would have held up longer
Size: 40H Color: Lilgryw/Zepho
Good support, I got it almost a year ago and it has reached the end of its life. The fabric holding the strap started to thin within a few months but it’s held on. The wire has now poked out so it’s time to retire this bra. For the price I do wish it would have held up longer than 11 months.
