Jose C. We got a 16oz Wide Mouth Glass Bottle. The glass is nicely insulated giving you confidence in its quality. The great feeling sleeve gives a comfortable grip while making liquids at any temperature easy to enjoy, and the wide mouth makes controlling how much liquid comes out a breeze. Its well thought out dimensions also show that they have a good grasp on what we need when using the product under many different circumstances. Now for the really amazing part: When reaching out to W&P regarding an issue we had with the bottle I braced myself for what I thought would be a long, drawn-out headache of a conversation. I sent an email explaining a problem we had with the bottle. They might have easily have said it was because of something out of their control. They might have claimed that the problem was probably our fault. They claim the bottle can withstand rugged use. W&P backs up their claims with immediate responses to emails and with a "put your money where your mouth is" attitude. They did what one would expect from a top of the line organization. They asked for an explanation of the problem and the details about what happened. Then they said we would be receiving a replacement bottle at NO COST TO US, and followed up with a no-delay shipment as soon as could be possibly be expected. We got a tracking number and received the replacement as promised. I will continue to use W&P products when ever I need something, assuming they make it. I saw some really cool W&P ice trays but I just finished buying some before knowing they make them. In this day and age its nice to know that there are still a few places where you can actually get what you paid for like in the good-old days. I’ve owned a number of different brands and types of glass water bottles since making the switch from plastic around ten years ago, and this one is definitely the most shatter-resistant. I’ve accidentally slammed it into cabinets, walls, and doors on a number of occasions, and have even dropped it a few times, and it’s managed to hold up. With others that I’ve owned, I ended up having to replace them every few months or so because they would break. The bottle also looks nice, is high quality, and so far hasn’t stained or started to degrade. I am happy with my purchase.

I drink most of my water from my bottle, so I wanted glass. I like the bottle, but was disappointed that although it says it is dishwasher safe, it tastes like cheap lemon flavor if I do. The silicone seems to absorb the detergent. So I hand wash. Also, be aware that glass weighs more. I think it's pretty and it's stayed nice after about six months. It's hard to find glass, and I'm happy with my purchase.

I have been trying to drink more water at work so I bought this to take to the office. I just refill it 4 times during the day and it’s all I need. I like it because it’s dishwasher safe and because the interior looks s all glass, it doesn’t hold on to any smells so I can use it for coffee too. Despite the fact that the body is made entirely of glass, I do not feel like I have to be precious with it. It is very sturdy and the silicone cover extends to the bottom of the bottle so it is cushioned, but there is a window in the bottom so I can see that the bottle is clean.

EDIT: I reached out to the company and received a canned response. It still sucks that they didn't even offer a discount on a replacement. Apparently the silicone protective sleeve is to just give it better grip and not help protect it from accidental drops. I only recommend this bottle for sitting at a desk or something, which doesn't really address its travel-ability. I purchased this because I'd been hearing about leaching plastics into water. It was the perfect size, easy to hold for me. I stuck it in my bag for a trip. First day -- my daughter accidentally knocked over my bag, and this bottle immediately shattered, soaking everything in my bag. I will say that it only made 3 pieces instead of tons of tiny ones, so it wasn't too hard to get the glass out of my bag. And maybe I just got super unlucky and it fell in exactly the way it needed to to shatter. But for me....I basically paid money to soak everything in my bag.
