As others have said to holes are much larger than the L bolt hardware, as these were not expensive I decided to put shrink wrap on the bolt section that goes into the holes on the right angle bar. This seems to do the trick to correct what the manufacturer should have done.

I bought these a year ago, and they were great. I have another project and needed more so I ordered more. The accuracy is there, but not the quality. The hole the post slides through is bigger, causing the clamp to clamp at diagonal rather than flat. This also doesn’t allow the handle to stay tight and it loosens.
