Description

Size:1/2ft x 5ft How to Install? 1. Clean the surface as thoroughly as possible ( isopropyl alcohol is best). 2. Peel the paper backing from the vinyl sticker and apply. 3. Once vinyl is applied, you can use heat to activate the adhesive. Use a heat gun or hair dryer and softly press the film into place. 4. I used this product to create a design on the back of one of my vehicles. The lift gate had a crack in the back door (common is year SUV). The key I found after a few errors were the following: 1) Clean surface with Alcohol or hand sanitizer gel and a clean white wash rag. Clean very well and ensure no fibers from cleaning cloth are on the surface to be covered. 2) Remove the plastic protective film off the carbon fiber portion. 3) Be patient -Apply slowly and carefully, as you’ll notice that on a CLEAN surface the product applies quickly and clings well. (Most people complaining about it not being sticky probably didn’t clean with alcohol! 4) GENTLY use a heater or blow dryer on a low temperature to heat while smoothing it down with a cloth. Heat and smooth, heat and smooth continuously until you have the product forming around the curves. NOTE: This product is somewhat thick so it take a “while” to form around curves, but with patience you’ll develop your technique and it’ll work just fine. Enjoy! ... show more

First off this is the first time I've used any type of vinyl wrap. After researching I decided to try the Vvivid Carbon. It's definitely thick and a quality material. I used a heat gun for the install on my 2014 Suburban LTZ. I hated the wood grain interior and wanted some change. I started with the rear window trim pieces which I found went pretty well and gave me a feel for how to work the heat and material. I then moved to the front window trim pieces which more involved due to more switches. The big accent trim was probably the easiest and the HVAC vents are probably the hardest. I couldn't quite get the inside curved corners quite perfect. I reinstalled all the trim and have only found a few small areas where next time I would have 100% like an eyelash the fell under or a tiny air bubble etc... Once you have everything in place you need to go over it and heat it again to take the memory out of it and make sure it's all sealed together otherwise once the car hits the sun it will peel back and come undone. I gave 4 stars as it is a quality material and a very nice print. I'd definitely buy again in a different color for an interior change ... show more

As others have said, it’s useless. It doesn’t stay stuck and corners and edges - forget about it. Maybe it’s just a bad batch lately. I’ve used the 3M before and that was fine - heats nicely around edges and corners. This - it just doesn’t want to stay stuck down unless it’s on a completely flat surface. If you heat it (note I have experience of the 3M), it doesn’t really want to do anything and if you apply more heat, it will melt. Another feature the 3M doesn’t have... ... show more

Got this along with some colored vinyl to wrap the tire hugger on my bike. This stuff cost twice as much as the colored vinyl and guess what? The whole roll is 6 inches wide. You need to wrap in a single piece (if you want it to look decent) which makes this pretty useless. Photos very misleading, the roll they show don't look 6 inches wide. I'll order another roll but won't be from these guys. When I pulled it out it almost made me laugh. You would be lucky to wrap a large laptop with this let alone the interior of a car......garbage. ... show more

Bought this product to wrap interior trim on truck but had too many issues. It bubbled up a lot, did not conform to edges (even with heat gun), and was extremely thick. I bought the matte black version from Vvivid as well and that product was MUCH easier to work with. The red wrap shown in the picture is from a different brand so you can see how this shiny black wrap looks way worse in comparison. Don’t buy! ... show more

Very very malleable with little tack. Any heat in the summer makes this stuck peel back if you put even a little stretch into it. If you live in a cooler climate this is cool. If you live in California weather, the summers will mess up your work. I'd recommend going with a thicker type. Not these heat activated vinyls for gage clusters etc. ... show more

This wrap is nice, but it is not glossy like in the picture. I posted 2 pictures. One with the flash on & the other without. Also, on the edge to give the best view at different angles. Neither look anything like the image the seller advertises. After purchasing it I was able find some on AliEpress for a 3rd of the price and twice as much. Although, Amazon ships in about 2 days (or a week sometimes) whereas AliExpress usually takes about a month to 2 months. ... show more
