It's unfathomable how this product was ever in any way conceptualized or approved. The fact that they put a photo of this on a vehicle makes me extremely upset. At the very best this is something your 5-year-old child could possibly use in arts and crafts. Even then, it wouldn't last long. I purchased this and some random Chinese brand of the wrap, basically unbranded. I've seen "VViViD" around and heard bad things about it but I didn't think it was possible to be THIS bad and still in business. SUPER PRONE TO SCRATCHES, LIKE A LOT. LIKE A SCRATCH OFF LOTTO. This vinyl is extremely fragile and it didn't even come with a little plastic covering that would usually come on top of the vinyl should it be prone to scratches. That means when you get it, there will already be scratches all over it. And it's not a normal level at all. What they basically did is take a chrome vinyl and then apply some color over it somehow. So you can actually see chunks of it already just rubbed off while just being shipped and it is NOT just on the exposed part of it. This will be through the ENTIRE ROLL. If you rub anything hard against it, it will come off. There doesn't appear to be anything protecting the color. So any other slightly respectable roll of vinyl, including the random brand I purchased, would ensure the color can't just rub off. NOT MALLEABLE AT ALL. FULL OF BUBBLES. Don't try to stretch this thing. You will have the hardest time working with it unless you're straight up applying it to a flat piece of paper. It's like shipping really bad shipping. That's the best way I can describe it. The vinyl, if you can even call it that, is also super thin. I pulled on it super hard trying to stretch it and it didn't move a single millimeter. Hey, at least it didn't rip. Also, it looks like it doesn't have the texture on the back so you will get a ton of bubbles and have a difficult time working with this in every way possible. Even if you manage to conform it to anything, you won't be able to get the bubbles out. WORST ADHESIVE EVER. DOESN'T STICK So when I first touched it, I was like "what are all these other reviewers talking about?" Because it felt super sticky. Then I found out it doesn't stick to anything else. I put it on cardboard, comes right off with a slight tug. How in the world is this "permanent" in any way? It'll just fly right off. Imagine paying someone thousands to wrap your vehicle and it just comes off. That's if they can even get it on there. Other random brand vinyl actually stuck and I could pull up a box that weighed a few pounds with it. That's how much of a difference there is with the adhesion. This is made in Canada, supposedly. Canada should be ashamed of this company. Please don't buy this. Please. Please. I know you're thinking "well, no reputable brand offers this." There's a reason, and if you have to then please go with some small samples from random brands from China until you find one that's at least in some way usable. There is no way this will last the 5 years they say; even more reputable brands say their vinyl will last 1-3 years maybe and while it may last longer at least they're humble. This one won't last the shipping to your house.

I love the effect this holographic vinyl had with glitter cardstock. It is a challenging stick, but does adhere well enough that removal was difficult. It does stick very well to nonpourous surfaces. **edited: I've recently read several complaints on other VViViD vinyl products about the bubbles and bobbles when unwrapping it from the roll. They complained that the vinyl was unusable. Without a whole lot of experience with vinyl, I assumed this was something that was normal. I alleviated this problem by cutting it to the size I needed (12" x 12"), then peeling the vinyl carefully off the backing. Place the backing flat on the cutting mat. Place the vinyl carefully on top and smooth gently with the squeegee. If you are too forceful with the squeegee it will leave scratches. It worked flawlessly. As my projects weren't intended to be permanent, I didn't cover them with a clear coat to protect them. However, I would recommend doing so for permanence. This feels and acts more like a foil than a vinyl. ** I did not love forcefully removing the paper backing from my new mats. BEWARE of using the regular stick new mats. After several runs and the mats becoming worn in, mildly dirty from leaving small bits of the previous sheet, and less sticky, the paper back tears less. It is a serious chore getting the backing off when the mats are fresh.

Looks nice but I found it hard to work with when weeding. Also had many scratches and bubbles that would not come out. I wasted many pieces so make sure you test cut before cutting a design.
