I purchased a bunch of toys for my 11 month old grandson for his first sleepover. Didn't want to have him bored with only old people stuff to play with. He consistently gravitated toward this cube. It's got a lot going on to keep one entertained. There are buttons, sound, spinny things, cymbles, maracas, etc, etc. It's light enough for him to pick up and flip around but without being a weapon. It's also solidly built and feels like it could take a beating. It was dropped and tossed on a carpeted floor many times and there is zero concern about it breaking in that environment. From an adult perspective, it was not annoying (high praise). I only had to listen for it for a couple of days so I can't say whether or not it would get annoying after weeks or months of use. The voices, sound and music are all tolerable. The colors are bright and exciting. It appears to be safe and effective toy. I didn't really see anything on it that could potentially cause concern. Not much more to say about it. Of the 5-10 new toys that I purchased, this was the one he was most likely to crawl to and play with for awhile before embarking on the next piece of sensory overload.
