STARTED BUYING SEVERAL EXTENSIONS - DISAPPOINTED with ALL OF THEM :-( LEARNED that the seemingly-black (opaque) face on the Q3 controllers apparently have MULTIPLE LED signals PASSING THROUGH THEM (like a TV remote) and up into the Q3 headset's lenses :-O ... LEARNED THE HARD WAY that when the controller face is oriented AWAY FROM YOU then these signals DON'T (always) REACH THE Q3 VR headset :-O ... WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?? SIMPLE - it means that ANY extension that points DOWN the length of the shaft instead of at 90degrees to it CAN'T REALLY WORK - not when you NEED it to - when you're addressing the ball at the tee or on the fairway :-O ... NOW COMES THE INTERESTING PART... WHEN this extension arrived I realized it was ONLY BUILT FOR THE RIGHT CONTROLLER :-( ... I thought I'd made a MISTAKE, but when I re-read the Product Description, it said NOTHING being "only for right-handed golfers". ON A LARK, I installed my right controller, and launched Golf+. TURNS OUT that YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN PLAY (MARVELOUS) LEFT-HANDED GOLF WITH ONLY 2 TWEAKS: TWEAK #1: USING THE RIGHT CONTROLLER DO THE FOLLOWING: In Golf+ CLICK Menu > Settings > Controller > Play Lefty with this controller (note: the actual wording AFTER you check the box is UNINTUITIVE, but PRESS ON - you're nearly there!) TWEAK #2: USING THE RIGHT CONTROLLER DO THE FOLLOWING: In Golf+ CLICK Menu > Settings > Controller > Custom Extension..     • Works on Quest 3 with AMVR Q3 setting.
Just received my VR golf club. As others have mentioned, you have to go into the settings and select the appropriate accessory for using this. This is the setting I selected which made it work -AMVR Q3. I tried swinging without this club, and my slice was horrible. I did better swinging with one hand. Things have gotten better with this club, but I still have a small slice I need to correct. Practice will make me better, but I really wish I could see my feet without having to tap the headset for pass-through imaging or look under the goggles so I can aim better. I would honestly say this is a must-have accessory when playing golf. The controller is pretty solid in this club. 5 minutes and I already saw an improvement in my swing and my distance. ... show more

    • Doesn't work with Meta's rechargeable batteries
The club attachment feels pretty close to the real thing once your controller is fitted on the end to give it the extra needed weight. However, there are some issues. It only works with the right controller, but it won't work with the Meta rechargeable battery installed. You'll have to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one while using the golf club attachment. This could be a bit of a hassle if you frequently use your right controller for other games. ... show more

    • Easy to use, tough to master
This piece is great for games like Golf+ and Walkabout to add a more realistic grip and swing. I have used this for a few weeks, and my stroke slices just as bad as it would in real life! So to me, it's a win.

    • Perfect for Meta Quest 3!
Not a ton of options on Amazon for a adapter compatible with the Quest 3. 1 is very expensive and 1 has bad reviews. So I took a chance on this one and it is PERFECT! No complaints. Nice design. Feels great. Works great. Built great.

This Quest 3 golf club attachment is only ok. The quality is good. The Quest 3 controller attachment is good and works well. But the club is way too short and also too light. If you do not play golf in real life, then this is good enough. But if you play golf in real life and want something that will feel like your swinging a real club and swing like your real swing, then look somewhere else. If this was heavier and slightly longer (maybe at least 5 more inches), this would be a great golf club for the Quest 3. ... show more
