Now, first I’ll say, a step in harness is not my favorite type. To me it’s cumbersome and I prefer easy on/off. However, that being said, my dog has decent sized chest girth with kind of a small neck, so she can get out of her harness too easily. I need one for travel and car rides where she’s not going to get out of and escape. This is well made, looks nice and is padded for comfort. I feel she is secure in this. We like this version of a harness because it is easy to step in and fasten. Velcro and a clip at the back. For reference, This is an extra large. She is somewhere between 18 and 20 lb. She can wear it now and has room to grow.

Biscuit is a little female dog which we just adopted. The shelter had sold us a leash that went around her neck but we didn't like it. It seemed that we were choking her every time she pulled on the leash. My sister recommended we purchase a harness which we did. The size chart that you can see when you look at the harness is pretty good but you have to do a bit of guessing because it's not easy to get exact measurements on a squirming dog. The pictures were pretty good and we made a good guess as to the proper size and we were right. Initially, she didn't like the harness but she has gotten used to it and looks very pretty in her pink harness. It makes it so easy to take her out for her multiple walks each day ... show more

Great brand and harnesses. I’ve literally used all of the sizes from getting my corgi pup at 9weeks old. Only thing is that a large was getting a little tight on her, so i bought the XL. Caution because the XL is a larger size up than compared to sizing up from a medium to large. Good harnesses but the step up from a large to XL is too much of a difference ... show more

I bought this for a puppy. It attaches with Velcro, but the heavy duty clasp on the back holds it secure. My puppy found this comfortable, but most importantly he couldn’t squirm out of it (not the case with some other harnesses) which is a huge safety issue obviously. Edit 1/27: the company reached back out to me and is investigating the size issue and attempting to make it right. Which reflects highly on customer service. Hopefully this was just a one-off defect. I’ve attempted to communicate with the company but haven’t heard back. I’ve ordered many Voyager harnesses and never had this issue. I ordered a new harness size XS. I needed a slightly larger one for my dog. The one I had is XXS. I ordered the exact same color but the problem is the sizes are the exact same? (See photo) The XS is exactly the same as the XXS! I even tried it on my dog and no difference. Needless to say I am in the process of returning this and now am really confused as to what size To order.
