I have wide feet with a high instep so its rare that I can put on new shoes without the pain of the "break-in" period. These shoes surprised me. They are comfortable and good looking right out of the box.

As a value shoe. These are better quality than I expected. Will you get more out of something like say Cole Haan shoes? Yes. But for the price ($30 when I purchased), these absolutely do their job. Like most leather shoes, they’re stiff at first. But have broken in decently. They are comfy enough my use, an office job shoe. They look great and have held up fine so far. They do dry out however, so you will need leather conditioner to keep them looking nice. Would I purchase these as full time dress or formal shoes? No. But for a basic shoe to get me through the week. They are just fine for the price.

Looks good however I find that both shoes have a dimple/indentation where the tongue of the shoes meets the laces. May be that there is a stitching flaw/error in the construction of the shoe. Not sure if that's the reason.
