These are cute once you build them & look just like the picture, but I wasn't expecting to have to build candle holders. Because of this I would not recommend sending them directly to someone as a gift. Once assembled they are sturdy, but there is only a rim for the base, it's not solid. They also came with a fuzzy sticker to put in the top - I prefer the look without this, plus if your candle is a bit thinner your wax will drip and stick to it. ... show more
