Pretty simple to install, holds tire with no problems, good quality materials, universal fit. Only thing I will probably change is using a u-bolt to hold tire on so you don’t need extra tools to get it off when needed.

Be advised you will have to make a trip to the hardware store to install this on your trailer. Only comes with the tire bracket. No hardware included, even though the pictures indicate that the hardware is included. Welds look good, and appears it should hold a 185x80 R13 spare. If your going with a 205 or bigger spare may want to get a beefier bracket, the gusset is pretty small on this one. ... show more

The strong 1/8th inch thick steel comes powder coated black. You get 4 long bolts with square bases to hold tight to your backing bracket and 4 washers and nuts with nylon inserts to hold tight without fear of coming loose on the threads. You get a pair of lug bolts and nuts (without nylon inserts) and 4 variable slot choices to fit a myriad of wheel sizes to mount a spare tire. The nuts and bolts are stainless steel and won't give fear for rust. The steel bracket will get a spray paint coating from me just to be doubly sure the black powder coat doesn't fail as almost any rust will make it completely useless. The welds look good to me. The main part of the brackets are 7 1/2 inches long and should be large enough for most all trailer tongues. ... show more

Welds, paint and hardware all look fantastic on this tire mount. Install is easy. I installed it on the tongue of my trailer. One negative was the packing of the hardware. The plastic bag was very week and hardware was everywhere. This should keep my tire secure for many years. I will add a padlock for extra security. ... show more
