The fabric is soft and warm and just has the perfect hint of shine. The embroidery design looks classier in real life than the pictures (designed to show all the detail) make it appear. I was dubious and ready to return these if I didn’t like them but once they arrived, I’m in love. I haven’t hung them up yet so I can’t post a picture. The curtains are very well made and just beautiful. They feature a rich visual texture that has variety from jacquard woven abstract ripples on the underlying material to emulated silks on the next layer, then the fine cotton embroidery on the surface, they present as a very well made classical curtain that is rich and opulent. I also purchased the coordinating sheer that is akin to a thicker chiffon with the same embroidery of cotton on its surface. The sheer features a harmonizing color within the embroidered pattern of the original thicker curtain. When The sheer is layered beneath the thick outer curtain to allow the outer curtain to part during the day for the utilitarian purpose of permitting light into ones space, it creates an aesthetically pleasing picture to read, The heavy grounded color and multiple textures visually anchor the outer curtains and are a smooth flow from our traditional left to right layout,. The sheers repetition of embroidered patterns as well as the added accent color on the surface, carry your eyes from one side to the next. I am very pleased with this purchase. I am very disappointed with my purchase. I have an Amazon prime membership, however the seller charged me $60 more to send my order sooner. After 3 weeks these curtains arrived, such a waste of money and time! The cloth itself looks good quality but the way they made the curtains is very poor. There are strings that came out of the patterns, also the patterns are not allign when I hang them. I decided to return the item, and it seems that they dont accept free return and i have to pay for it!!! I give them ZERO star if I could!! ... show more
