I've used the pull-on chair leg protectors but they always fall off my dining room chair front legs, which are atypical (they've got carving). These cuttable felt pads looked promising as an alternative. Just today I got a 3x5 card out to make a template circle, and tried cutting out circles on the felt. I was pleased at how the felt adheres to the bottom of the chair leg. Two cautions though. First, make sure you have the sharpest scissors you can find in the house. I'm startled that some reviewers made a point of saying the felt and its backing are easy to cut. I used a recently-bought heavy duty pair of scissors, and it was still a struggle. Don't expect to cut a perfect circle! Second, get a few different kinds of pens handy because the felt backing doesn't accept ink very well. My experience: forget ball points. Forget Sharpie fine points. Pilot G7 a bit better but still not great. The best I could find was a thick marker which left a faint mark. Another commenter mentioned that there are adhesive felt circles available, but they're not versatile. I may just give something like that a try, however, if the circle size is right for my chairs.

Got these to try under some furniture we were putting on LVP (luxury vinyl plank) flooring. The adhesive is strong, and is holding the felt in place well. The strips were also easy to cut down to the size we needed. The felt feels sturdy yet not too rough, so as to not scuff the floors.

I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of this item. It’s well-cushioned and doesn’t wear out from regular use. I would just recommend using strong scissors to shape it, since it’s a little difficult to cut through. The adhesive came off of the felt a little when I pulled off part of the label, but it was easy to fix. It hasn’t come off of the bottom of my chairs, so I would say it’s a good product!

The feet on our chairs are very narrow. Each time we have bought pre-cut circular pads, they have not fit perfectly and fallen off after a few days. The Vocomo cut to fit felt strips are a fantastic solution! The felt on the pads is nice and thick, but not too thick like some I have used. When you measure the size you need, the thickness allows the chair to slide. I was worried that the edges would fray where it was cut but it hasn't. The old pads we used were much too thick and would come off after a few days of daily use. These have held on over a few weeks so far with no issue. What I really like is that you can use them for multiple different items since they are completely customizable. We have the chairs with round legs but the table has square legs. In the past I have had to purchase two different sets, these allow me to purchase one set and cover both pieces. If you have multiple items that need padding to protect your floors or make it easier to slide, the Vocomo set is a great option to purchasing multiple different sets. The felt is nice and thick, the 3M adhesive has held strongly on our chairs (and with 2 teenagers they get PLENTY of shoving and dragging daily!) and you can cut to your own needs. For $12 you are getting about 3.5 feet of padding making it a great value.
