Description

VNLA (Vanilla) has designed and manufactured high-end roller skates and skate components since 2005 and is the premier brand for jam and rhythm skaters. The Parfait is the first Ladies high-top outdoor roller skate designed by the brand. Made with microfiber uppers in 3 vibrant hues, the boot offers soft yet structured support. The inside of the boot is fully lined with ample padding for an incredibly comfortable fit, and shows off a colorful pattern that stays true to the Parfait name. The contrasting tongue is extra thick and durable. Each pair comes with contour insoles that can be added if your feet are narrow; offering a more snug fit! The boot is mounted to an aluminum plate and double-action aluminum trucks with 85-90A polyurethane cushions, finished with a rubber adjustable toe stop. The Parfait is also 20% lighter than most high- top roller skates! The 58mm x 32mm, 78A transparent polyurethane wheels complete with ABEC-7 bearings are ideal for outdoor skating, whether you are leisurely cruising the sidewalk or grinding at the skate park. You can also enjoy these skates at the rink too! At a mid-range price, the quality and comfort of the VNLA Parfait roller skate cannot be beat! Please note: the Parfait boot is made in Ladies sizing. Ladies, just order your every day shoe size! The boot is great if you have wide feet, and if you have narrow feet simply add the included contour insole to your boot! I don't even have wide feet and I appreciated how these fit. Even brand new I could wear these comfortably for longer than my other skates, and if you're a half-size, these fit better than other brands (make sure to check the size guide, I wear a size 8 shoe, got the 7 skate, plenty of room without being smashed up against the toe.) If you plan on skating indoors in these, you will absolutely need to purchase harder wheels, but that's an easy fix. The media could not be loaded. These are absolutely amazing!! I am plus size plus have wide feet can I have been to many stores plus ordered a pair online trying to find some quadskates that fit. These were recommended to me and I am so happy that I got them. I did use a different lacing pattern for a little bit of extra room. The material is super soft.Well , made a very pretty on top of it. Even the inside is super cute. The support is where it needs to be and is not super flexing while skating. The wheels are for outside and good quality. I do want to get some inside wheels for the skating rink. They are not super cheap , but considering how much good skates are the quality and satisfaction is definitely here. I haven’t roller skated or roller bladed in at least 20 years, but I used to love it! I decided I wanted to get some skates to wear when my son is riding his bike or scooter (he’s 5 so I’m not too embarrassing yet). I have wide feet so I knew finding a good pair that I liked might be a challenge. I did online research and lots of ladies in my position swore by the VNLA parfait. They are plenty wide enough and reasonably comfortable out of the box. The boot is nice and supportive, but a bit stiff so I’ll need to break them in some. The VNLA sizing chart was spot on. I wear a 7.5 wide in new balance running shoes so I followed the brand’s sizing advice and ordered a 7. Usually I go up to an 8 in footwear that isn’t labeled as wide, so I half expected to need to send them back and exchange for a bigger size. But I didn’t! 7 was a perfect fit! I'm writing this review mostly about size. Haven't skated yet. I have Very wide feet. I decided to try these because they are suppose to be good for wide feet. I first ordered a size 9 in teal. They were to tight and I needed to return them. Then went with a size 10 in pink. Pink was the only color that offered free returns. The 10 fit. Here's things to consider if you have very wide feet. Also my left foot is bigger than my right. 1. Order 1 size up. 2. The removable insole is just thin foam. When removed there is a steel plate with screws exposed on the heel. I will probably put adhesive foam over it just on the heel. That's why 4 stars. 3. For me I needed to remove the insole on the left skate and leave it on the right. For the price they seem well made. There is a nasty odor hopefully it will go away. Update. My road was recently black topped. That's why I wanted to try skating again. Not a lot of cars. Skated about 1/2 mile. The boot is quite stiff, not to uncomfortable, good support. They are heavy. ... show more

Great skates for wide feet. Cute color, good padding at the ankle, and light weight. Make sure toe stops are screwed in well…I didn’t and lost one after skating for 3 days in a row. Trucks needed to be loosened quarter of a turn for me. I usually wear women’s size 7.5/8. I got size 8 and it fit well. I don’t even wear wide feed shoes but other skates were too tight for me. ... show more

I love these!!!!! I am 5’1 and 190lbs and having cheaper skates with aluminum and not plastic is so nice. As someone who’s heavier it feels nice to have a great beginner skate that are stable. The cushions on the trucks are great for beginners, I can actually do bubbles in them when I practice. I usually size up in roller skates because I hate how my toes touch the tips of skates and how skinny they are. I didn’t size up due to reviews and I got a size 7, and they feel amazing with just enough space so my toe doesn’t touch the front. Overall great purchase. Just a little space on the sides of the tongue padding, but that’s just because of my legs being bigger. ... show more

When I picked up this skating hobby, I told myself I only needed one pair of skates. That's it. Wrong. I started looking for skates shortly after these Parfaits where launched. Loved the colors but my size was never available. In any color. So I picked up a different skate. I was doing ok with those skates but was so scared about breaking an ankle while skating on asphalt, I was not making much progress. Those skates are suede and flexible but I was not confident I would have the support when I needed it. They are my inside skates, but as my confidence is gaining, I take them outside more often then before. These Parfaits became available in my size (and color!) and as a bonus were on sale so I snagged them. I fell in love. The boot is sturdy but flexible. The padding is awesome. After the break in period, so comfortable. I love the support they provide. I also like the toe box in these skates. When I first tried them on, my toes were snug but not tight. I have baby bunions forming, and there skates did not give me much issuses when I started wearing them. The Parfaits are pretty heavy compared to my other skates, but for outside skating I feel the Parfaits keep my grounded. Just have to work the legs a bit more. I've had these skates for almost a year now and use them primarily outside with 78A/62mm wheels. When I wear them inside, with the stock wheels the skates came with, I feel like they are too heavy for inside use. Not a "sticky" feel from the wheels but a weighted feel. Inside is the only place I feel the weight is not needed. I would recommend these to anyone. I tried on several pairs of skates before settling on my first pair, that are light weight and suede but of the two pairs I own, these are my favorite. Happy Skating ... show more
