Description

VNLA (Vanilla) has designed and manufactured high-end roller skates and skate components since 2005 and is the premier brand for jam and rhythm skaters. The Parfait is the first Ladies high-top outdoor roller skate designed by the brand. Made with microfiber uppers in 3 vibrant hues, the boot offers soft yet structured support. The inside of the boot is fully lined with ample padding for an incredibly comfortable fit, and shows off a colorful pattern that stays true to the Parfait name. The contrasting tongue is extra thick and durable. Each pair comes with contour insoles that can be added if your feet are narrow; offering a more snug fit! The boot is mounted to an aluminum plate and double-action aluminum trucks with 85-90A polyurethane cushions, finished with a rubber adjustable toe stop. The Parfait is also 20% lighter than most high- top roller skates! The 58mm x 32mm, 78A transparent polyurethane wheels complete with ABEC-7 bearings are ideal for outdoor skating, whether you are leisurely cruising the sidewalk or grinding at the skate park. You can also enjoy these skates at the rink too! At a mid-range price, the quality and comfort of the VNLA Parfait roller skate cannot be beat! Please note: the Parfait boot is made in Ladies sizing. Ladies, just order your every day shoe size! The boot is great if you have wide feet, and if you have narrow feet simply add the included contour insole to your boot! I haven’t roller skated or roller bladed in at least 20 years, but I used to love it! I decided I wanted to get some skates to wear when my son is riding his bike or scooter (he’s 5 so I’m not too embarrassing yet). I have wide feet so I knew finding a good pair that I liked might be a challenge. I did online research and lots of ladies in my position swore by the VNLA parfait. They are plenty wide enough and reasonably comfortable out of the box. The boot is nice and supportive, but a bit stiff so I’ll need to break them in some. The VNLA sizing chart was spot on. I wear a 7.5 wide in new balance running shoes so I followed the brand’s sizing advice and ordered a 7. Usually I go up to an 8 in footwear that isn’t labeled as wide, so I half expected to need to send them back and exchange for a bigger size. But I didn’t! 7 was a perfect fit! I really like these skates. I skated every weekend as a teen and picked it back up recently. The fit is good, shoe size 9 and skate size 9. The only downside is if bought from actual company not Amazon you get extra padding that’s removable and it did not come with my Amazon purchase.

I use my Malibu Moxi skates for indoor and these for outdoor. These in my opinion are a great skate for the price. They do have a very stiff build all throughout. Very supportive. You will need to break them in. I have flat feet and bunions but adding inserts and bunion protectors really helped improve the comfort level. With all that I'm still able to wear skater socks just fine. I purchased a size 9, same as my regular shoe size. The boot is wide which is nice since I have wide feet. They do get dirty and scuff easily outdoor. I definitely recommend buying toe guards. The material on the outside is really soft. You will need to adjust your trucks. I also took off the wheels it came with and put on the Moxi gummy wheels that came with my Malibu's. Over all, I love them! ... show more

Decent quality skate for the price. Nice aluminum plates, good outdoor wheels. GREAT for wide feet! I cannot stress that enough. I got a half size bigger(8) than my normal shoe size (7.5) because I wanted to add an insole, which makes skates tighter. So it worked out perfectly. It is in ladies sizes so that made sizing easier. I love the color and they’re nicely padded on the ankle. I usually wear an 8 1/2 to 9 and struggled with what to order. I went with the 9 and there’s a little room in the toe area but fit nicely! I just pulled these out of the box. They sure are pretty and seem to be very well made. My concern is with the sizing. I have been cursed with Flintstone feet, so out of alllllll the skates I could have bought, I chose VNLA because they rumored to ve great for wide feet. According the the VNLA sizing chart, I should order size 7. Well, I ordered a size 8 because even though my actual length is size 7, the extra wideness makes for a difficult fit. I also have partial paralysis in my foot due to a military injury, so shoe/skate is of major importance. Weeeeellll, let me tell you that I am not sure where anyone gets the idea that these skates are for wide feet. While they may be a bit wide in the toe box, the padding is so damn thick that it defeats the purpose of being wider. Like why bother making the toe box wider if you are just going to stuff the area with padding. ??? Soooo, I am going to attempt to make these work. If the super over the top excessive padding of these skates don't form to my feet I will simply write a sucky review. So I will try them out, and update my review. ... show more
