I ordered a size up, as I always have trouble finding the right fit for footwear, and find that it fits fine except there is some extra room in the toe area. I would assume I could have ordered my normal size. I have extra wide ankles and I find it's just a tad too tight but has loosen as they have been worn. Otherwise it's very comfortable.

These boots are totally amazing! There is cushioning on the inside, making them one of my most comfortable pairs of boots/shoes. I do a lot of walking when I’m in my office and my feet were comfy all day long. And, they are stylish too! My feet are never comfortable in boots, but they are in these. No I do not have cankles, but once I got the boots on and started walking the zipper came apart. Not broken just open up. You wo9udl think that the ankle area woudl be a bit wider. The boots are so comfortable and I love how they look, but I will have to return as i can't zip them up all the way. Dang it.
