  • Beautiful picture, But lacks modern gaming features and limits display options.
The TV has a beautiful picture, The HDR 10 and Dolby are near perfect. that alone is worth the money. but lemme tell you about the stuff that sucks. 1. display options are very limited when using HDMI 2.0 (or higher). Most display options are unavailable when using a newer device. stuff like aspect and picture smoothing are disabled. you really only have brightness available when using HDMI 2.0 or higher. This is the most annoying when using the Xbox Series X. it literally blocks out every customization feature. I went to the official forum, and Vizio says its because Microsoft prefers to control picture controls from the Xbox. its super annoying. I paid for a high end TV and I think I should be able to adjust the picture to what I want. 2.VRR is broken. when trying to use it, the picture turns yellowish green and gets really dark. The backlight flickers from one half of the screen before finally turning back on. this feature is why I bought this TV and it sucks it doesn't work. There is forum after forum about it. Vizio has said a patch is coming at the end of summer. But I'm pretty sure if it could be fixed, It would have been fixed by now. This is the biggest complaint you'll run into online. One the the biggest features and its totally missing. I have read that it does work at 1080p 60fps. But big deal...both the PS5 and the Series X can hit 60fps on 1080p no problem. Other then those two things The TV is a solid choice, especially if your mostly consuming Movies or television. (Disney Plus content is absolute stunning) If your looking for something to hook your modern Console or High end PC too, look for something else. ... show more

  • P65-C1 to Quantum X
My P65-C1 recently died; the main motherboard was no longer responding. As it was one of the best TV in terms of picture quality, I tried to buy a new board but there were only refurbished ones. So, I decided to buy Quantum X, and I am happy I did. In my opinion, the picture quality is not that much better than P65-C1, but that is a good thing. Blacks are black and brights are super bright. The built quality is OK. The TV is a bit too heavy, so you will definitely need two people to mount it on the wall. In terms of VRR it does OK. I am not too impressed, as I do most of my gaming on a gsync monitor. But I do have a PC connected to the HDMI 3 with a GTX graphics card and the games look better than on P65-C1. Here are some tips: 1. To avoid HDCP error on ROKU don't use HDMI 1 eARC port. It sucks, but that is the only way I got the errors to stop. 2. Disable all gaming options if not gaming. Otherwise, there will be a lot of flicker. My wife didn't notice flicker, but I did. 3. Set ROKU refresh rate to Auto. 4. Use dark calibrated picture mode for the best results. 5. Active arrays should be set to high. ... show more

  • May take some calibration and adjustments
I had to do quite a bit of tweaking with the settings to get the picture to look right which is the only complaint I can think of. The motion control settings can cause the image to look choppy/weird and it was driving me insane to pin down exactly what settings combination I needed to eliminate it. For anyone who gets this TV. To get HDR and Dolby vision content on Netflix to not look bizarre and choppy, in the advanced picture setting use: Judder reduction: 0 Motion Blur reduction: 0 Clear action: Off Pro gaming engine: Everything off here Film Mode: On And most importantly if you’re streaming from an external device set the refresh rate to 23.976Hz. Set anything else to your liking. I would recommend following the rtings color calibration guide as that does a good job for setting up the general image and color quality. If you’re going to use it for gaming use the gaming profile with all the gaming pro engine settings enabled. I haven’t really tested these much yet. After the initial setup the picture is stunning. It’s the first TV I have had with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support and it’s really amazing how beautiful and vibrant the colors are once you get it setup right. ... show more

  • You will love this with your Next Gen consoles
Love just about everything with this TV. One thing I hope gets fixed is with the ps5. Sometimes the HDMI input gets scrambled with it on HDMI 2.1 other times it'll work just fine . Other than that and smartcast it's a well worthy TV! HDR is Amazing!! May buy a soundbar but overall its decent without. It's BIG TOO! ... show more

  • Pleased with the tv!
For the price it's hard to beat. The image processing is crisp and I have yet to notice any ghosting on Disney+ UltraHD. Loving the response time for gaming and the latency is nice and low when paired with my Radeon card, and Nintendo Switch games are a pleasure. Sure the blacks aren't inky black, but they are dark enough considering how incredibly bright it is. I mean BRIGHT in daylight bright. The 65" maxes out my usable space or I would have upgraded to a bigger one! ... show more

  • HDMI issues and poor customer service from Vizio
The HDMI ports are buggy. Switching between ports causes issues. Sound cuts out if using a Vizio soundbar. There are refresh issues that can only be fixed but rebooting the tv. At this point, I regret this purchase. Do not buy this TV. Pay more money and get something of quality. UPDATE: It has been over three months with a broken TV. Vizio hasn't been able to fix the TV and promised to ship me a replacement. I have waited a month for the replacement TV to arrive and it's been a week past the scheduled delivery date. I have yet to hear from the shipping company and Vizio keeps giving me the run around. Update part two: three tvs and 4 new mother boards later and the tv still has the same issue. Vizio did not acknowledge this could be a firmware issue. Kept sending me different tvs to try. Vizio finally issued me a refund and took the tv back. I replaced the tv with a Samsung. No issues with the Samsung tv. Pay the difference and get a better quality tv. Save yourself a headache. ... show more
