my parents gifted this tv to us from Costco, and it was a display model. had to for almost 3 years and it has been fine for us. We are not big tech people so this is a review from a non-particular tech person. Sound- we have no extra speakers & have no problem hearing it well balanced. in the menu there is sound leveling which i use on and off all the time depending on the network im streaming from. only occasionally has the sound just dropped out. i turn it back on and it's back immediately. Picture- theres lots of options in the menu to change the levels to your liking. The definition is great. no complaints. i dont personally see issues with FPS. we enjoy the Roku more than the vizio smart menu. roku is a lot more vivid and precise to me. tho that could be the current settings. if you leave the screen on for awhile it will cause the top half of the screen to darken a little. you can fix this tho. Size- big screen. almost too big for our apartment, but it works. the slenderness lets it fit anywhere. and for good sound you move the tv away from the wall a bit and sound bounces off well. the roku has a better layout on smart apps. i just am not a vizio fan but as i said this was a gift. it's a good tv with a decent pricetag (probably clearanced in placs now...) so if you dont need nothing fancy this is fine. also has components for old gamining systems! my ps2 stuff looks hilarious on this screen! ... show more

Arrived broken, the only plus was Amazon's return policy. Had to downsize to a smaller TV to stay in the same price range.
