    • Dries herbs easily but difficult to clean out, doesn't stand on its own

Bought this to dry herbs and it works well since the mesh allows for the herbs to be spread out in a single layer, and for air flow on all sides. Nettle leaves were dry within just a few days hanging up in the shed. Two complaints though: 1. It doesn’t stand up on its own - if you rest it on the floor it just collapses. So it must be hanging in order to add herbs into it, take them out, or clean it out which can be annoying. 2. I wish each tier zipped off fully. The zippers only open about 1/4 of the way around each tier, so you have to reach inside, while it’s hanging, to add herbs or take them out. Because of this it’s also kind of impossible to get every little bit of dried herbs out, since you can’t zip the top off to turn it upside down and shake it. I’ve had to stick the vacuum inside and try to vacuum small pieces out. This wouldn’t be as big of a problem if you’re only ever drying one kind of herb, but I dry multiple different herbs from the garden so I need it to be fully cleaned out between different types of herbs, which is kind of impossible with this. Overall, I wish I had gone with one that could stand up on its own and/or was easier to clean out with fully removable tiers. ... show more
