Honestly I’m trying to find a good vivobarefoot shoe and they either run too small or too big. These were too small even though I’m typically a 7/7.5/8 (depends on the brand) in women’s, I bought and 8 and it was too small.

This is my first pair of minimalist/barefoot shoes, and in terms of fit, feel, and toe freedom they are amazing! I highly recommend downloading the size guide on the vivo website because the fit is accurate to that guide. This is a European brand, so its key to get the proper EU size. When first getting them, I spent a week or so taking thirty minute walks to break them in/get used to them. They wore a few blisters on my heels, but nothing outrageous—just a different wear than the nike sb dunks that I’m used to. Now I’m wearing these for 14 hours a day at work, which is a stand and walk heavy kind of job. The thing that upset me about the shoes is that after not even having them a month, theres a hole thats been worn into where my big toe hits sometimes. So I wish this had better toe reinforcement. I also think the laces on the shoe could be less stiff to get a better bite on tying them. They come loose easily. I love that they’re vegan, and am pleasantly surprised at how well that is holding up. They aren’t hot and my feet don’t sweat in them. They’re great for flying in. I’d definitely buy another pair of vivos—but maybe a different style because I don’t like that the mesh is tearing this early on after spending $100+ ... show more
