I loved these! They come wide in the forefoot but the ankle area is small/tight. I was able to get the left shoe on and it was so comfortable everywhere else. Soft and flexible, comfortable to stand and walk in. They look great and feel great! Unfortunately, the ankle tightness means I can’t wear them. The Vivobarefoot Primus Trail is easily one of the best minimalist trail shoes I’ve ever worn. Straight out of the box, they feel incredibly lightweight, flexible, and natural — almost like running barefoot but with just the right amount of protection. The wide toe box gives my feet room to splay and engage naturally on uneven terrain, improving balance and stability on every step. Traction & Performance: The sole grips beautifully on dirt, gravel, and rocky paths without feeling bulky. It’s thin enough for excellent ground feedback but still protective enough to handle roots and sharp stones. I’ve used them for trail runs, rucks, and even gym sessions — they transition seamlessly. Comfort & Fit: After a short break-in period, they molded perfectly to my feet. The breathable mesh upper keeps things cool and dry, and the overall construction feels durable despite being feather-light. The heel and midfoot lockdown are secure, with zero slippage even on steep climbs or descents. Durability & Design: After months of use, the tread is still holding strong. By far the best barefoot minimalist shoe on the market! Well made with great traction. Very stylish! They have increased my foot and ankle strength tremendously over the past three years I’ve worn them. A little expensive though. Find a good deal and get you some!

Runs slightly large, but a great shoe for barefoot enjoyers. Love the color and style- it really stands out. Plus, great for the gym. Can crease a little in the middle- so I wouldn’t recommend this for running; it’d probably hurt your toes.

These shoes have been very good for everyday wear and walks. I am yet to test them on a day hike as of now but for urban daily usage they've been fantastic. I got size 9-wide and it fits perfectly. Better than my usual primus trail all weather to be honest. Traction and feedback from the ground is excellent and the knit quality is very good. This is my 4th pair of vivo and I have no hesitation to give it 5stars. And I get complements about the styling of these pair of shoes quite often - which is another plus I guess! ... show more

I'm a man didn't realize these were a woman's shoes.Because selection is not so much. I'm usually a 9 in tennis shoes. 8.5 in boots i got 8 wide fits great with more room. I can't wait till you come out with steel toe.Because these shoes make your feet stronger.

Very disappointed with the fit at this price point. Break at the toe was uncomfortable and the material lacks sufficient elasticity to compensate for the break at the toe area. Had to return. Expected more based on the brand. Got the Merrell Men's Vapor Glove 6 and extremely happy with them!!!!

First ever barefoot shoes after much research decided on these and did my first hike with them and felt great all through. Actually thought my feet would hurt a bit before getting used to barefoot style but these have been awesome.
