The scent is strong BUT it does not make my hair fall out, at all. I have tried SEVERAL conditioners recently and I check the drain after washing and then again after conditioning. I found that Pura Dor shampoo works without making my hair fall out, but their conditioner makes my hair fall out. The Pura Dor and taking DHT blocking supplements stopped the constant hair loss completely in a few weeks so I am sticking with that shampoo and the DHT supplements. Thankfully, I finally found this Viviscal conditioner that does not cause any hair loss for me. I used this immediately after receiving it to make sure. My hair is extremely soft and smooth after using this, not heavy or greasy looking and my hair the next day does not look greasy either. This is a win for me so I immediately ordered more because it is on sale, works great, and I need some for the closet when this tube runs out. Then come to find out that Viviscal is owned by Church & Dwight ( Waterpik, Arm & Hammer, Oxiclean.....) HUGE company and I already use many of their products. They have excellent customer service as well. I should buy some stock now in the company. Love it, really!

have been using the Viviscal vitamins, shampoo and conditioner faithfully for 4 months and I have seen an amazing difference. A particular medication was causing my hair to fall out, to the point that I had to snake my bathroom sink and the tub every other month. No matter what hair product I used for styling I just couldn't hide my scalp anymore and my hair was terribly thin, brittle, and fell out all over the place. I was so self conscious I felt like all I could see was scalp. I figured what did I have to lose other than some money. I researched hair vitamins and treatments and this one got pretty good reviews. I took the plunge, and wow am I glad I did. Fur months later I look like I have Jennifer Anniston's hair. It's miraculous. I know this stuff is expensive but I'm no longer self conscious and feel good about my hair again. I plan to continue using the vitamins, shampoo, conditioner, and now I'm trying this product as well. I fully expect my hair will continue looking even healthier as the recommended timeframe for results is 4-6 months. If you've tried the products and are discouraged I urge you to stick with it. It truly takes 4-6 months for this stuff to work because the vitamins work from the inside out. A full growth cycle for your hair is 4-6 months so you have to give it time. Get in a routine. I set my vitamins out at night so I don't forget to take them and I pulled my other shampoo & conditioner products out of the shower. I swear by this stuff, and I was skeptical at first. Now I'm a believer. If you can fit it into your budget I highly recommend it. BUT-stick to it and be patient! Rome wasn't built in a day. Good luck!

This did make my hair feel thicker but the smell is AWFUL. I saw a few people here say it smells like men’s cologne so I went ahead and ordered it. I like men’s cologne and didn’t think it could be THAT bad. I was wrong. It’s bad. It doesn’t smell like cologne. It smells like a medicinal ointment. Like something you would apply to a wound or something. Not good.

I have been using this for over 2 years and I will never ever stop using it. I was on accutane for awhile few years back and it causes hair loss so my hair that was almost to middle of my back was now to my shoulders. Once I started using this and let it dry natural every day it is now almost down to my but. In 2 years it has grown almost 3 feet, it grows like a weed now. I absolutely love this, the lather, the smell and it leaves my hair super soft and healthy. I still bleach my hair but it is still growing like a weed by using this shampoo and conditioner, its amazing stuff!!! For those of you that are not experiencing hair growth from this product you may want to do a body detox. It definitely stimulates my scalp and I love the smell!

I used to use Nioxin as I have hereditary female hair loss. I tried Viviscal pills first and saw some results. I had to get a conditioner to take on a trip with me and loved this product so much that today I bought both the shampoo and the conditioner. I have noticed a significant increase in the thickness of my hair since taking the supplements and using the conditioner. And, a little goes a long way with the conditioner so it lasts quite a while. It makes your hair look and feel wonderful! Highly recommend the supplements and the conditioner.

I have been ingesting Viviscal for several months now (a ginger, always had fine hair, but lots of it) and I started noticing my hair was becoming felt thicker, as did my hairdresser. I decided to give Viviscal's shampoo a try, and liked the results. I did not order the conditioner initially, as I have have had good success with Pureology's volume enhancing conditioners. I quickly found the more I used the shampoo, the more I liked the shampoo, I decided I wanted to try Viviscal's conditioner. WOW! The hair conditioners is very light weight and nicely adds volume - and like the shampoo - it seems cumulative, the more I use it, the better it works. Also, very inexpensive!
