  • More Flat than Darco's but Straps not so Secure
Size: X-Small
So this came a day after I went to the doctor and he gave me a Darco shoe. I compared the two once I got this one. So the Darco is more secure with the straps. The Vive tends to feel like I am not strapped in well, that the top stap is not as stable. The Darco has too thick a sole and not hard enough for support. It also has sides that go inward which cauee my foot to bend off the the side. The Vivi is more much thinner, yet solid of bottom and less thick so I am more stable walking especially on carpet. I am a size 7 in sandals and athletic shoes. The chart says I am 9.2, or an xxs, for measurements, which is probably correct since this xs Vive is slightly too long. The xxs was sold out. Overall, I would say the Vivi is better for support on uneven ground but the Darco has better straps. The Darco could cause an ankel twist for my high arch support. This Darco causes my foot to pronate which is an ankle injury waiting to happen. I don't like the Vive velcro catches on bedding at night. I was using the Vivi for night and the Darco for outside but I am switching to that since I need a more flat footbed and not more than an inch bed. ... show more

  • Back saver
Size: Small
I broke my pinkie toe and the urgent care facility gave me a medical boot. It was really big and it was messing up my back. Decided to get this shoe instead. It has been a lot easier to get around and my back isn't bothering me as much. It does run a little big. I typically wear a size 7.5 open shoes and 8 to 8.5 sneakers, ordered a Small and had about 1.5 inches of room in the front. It does have just a little bit of flex in the sole, this won't work if you shouldn't flex your foot. Hope this review helps! ... show more

  • It did not work for me, but it may work for someone else.
Size: Small
The shoe did not fit as I expected. I bruised my foot when I fell, and the shoe fit too tight over the bruised area. I was not able to adjust the closures to keep my foot from hurting. I did use it for a limited time during the day, but I could not use it for any long walks. It may work for other injuries or surgery, but it did not work for me. ... show more

  • Works perfectly!
Size: XX-Small
Bought this for my MIL, she's had trouble with her foot for the last two years and wanted a full boot that goes halfway up her leg. I thought this one would be better for summer. She hesitated at first, but she tried it on and loved it! She even wears it to sleep sometimes because it feels so comfortable. I highly recommend it. She says it's much lighter than her previous ones and she walks a lot better now. ... show more

  • No Insole poor support cheap
Size: Large
Missing one important item a comfortable and removable insole. Just a hard flat board -- guess the slight higher difference in the other post op shoes price is why this is lacking in these. Don't recommend over the Darco or Brace Direct both offer a support foam insole. Just a couple dollars more.

  • Ripoff and Poor Customer Service
Size: Large
I ordered a Vive post op shoe, a brand I have previously ordered and found reliable. This time I received a Draco post op shoe of inferior quality and, per Amazon, a cheaper brand. When I tried to return it to Amazon, I was informed the return must be through the Vive company. I have had multiple contacts with Vive and have had no resolution. I seem to have been ghosted. This is very disappointing since I previously have had such positive experience with Vive shoes. ... show more

  • Perfect 👌
Perfect for stabilizing my broken toe. I don’t understand all the bad reviews. I’m a size 9 and ordered a Medium. It has extra room at the front to protect your toes from hitting into things while walking and provides support. It’s perfect. Perhaps some people were trying to achieve a different outcome or had unreasonable expectations. It does what it was designed to do and I’m ever so grateful for it. I have a 12 hour shift to get through today on a broken toe. With this support shoe I will able to work thankfully. ... show more

  • Helped with broken toe
Size: Small
I bought this to wear to work when I broke my toe. It helped a lot with the pain of my toe. I wear a size 6.5 in woman's shoes, I bought a small size boot and it was pretty big on me. If I have to buy another on I will get the extra small size.
