I bought these for an extended hospital stay as an alternative to dry shampoo. It didn't freshen up my hair a bit and left it damp. It left a residue but it added a couple days before I had to wash my hair.

This us a great way to ckean your hair when you cannot shower. It was easy to use and my long hair looked good afterwards. Just microwave 16 seconds, let cool down a little, put on your head and tuck all hair inside and knead the cap to create a wet shampoo inside. When cap is removed your hair will be wet. After 6 weeks I did start to feel a residue build up. Then it was nice to have a real hair wash with water & shampoo.

My son cannot get in shower or able to use sink. I used it on him and his hair was shiny and clean. It's even good for anyone who just wants a quick shampoo. I tried it once and loved it but will not continue due to the price, but it''s worth it for him. I recomend it.

These caps are not nearly as good as the ones in the hospital. The elastic is too tight and my mom's head is not that big. It's kind of a wet mess right out of the package. I will try a different brand next time. That being said, it does do the job.
